Great Experience Buying My Ford Focus! I had an amazing experience at Shaker! By the time I walked into Shaker I'd been searching for a new car for three weeks and driven all over Connectic I had an amazing experience at Shaker! By the time I walked into Shaker I'd been searching for a new car for three weeks and driven all over Connecticut to countless dealerships. I'd heard it all by the time I went to Shaker and was skeptical about another car dealership. I was impressed immediately. I was greeted right away and taken to the lounge while they found a sales manager. Not that it really matters in the grand scheme of things, but the lounge is beautiful not just cheap chairs and a small tv. James Cianciolo, the sales consultant, came right over and introduced himself. He asked me questions that none of the other sales people even thought to ask. Like I was set on a hatchback and James asked me why. I said for camping and my bike, but when we talked further I realized a bike rack was way more practical which really opened up my options. My budget was $7,000-$11,000 and while most dealers rolled their eyes at this, he took it seriously and found great options within my budget. He was genuine, actually listened to me, and incredibly helpful. I can't express enough how easy James made the process, talking through all my options (like electric vs. hybrid vs. gas). He made the search efficient and we easily narrowed down my options. I decided on Ford Focus SEL (that I love!) and he got me a great price and printed out KBB and NADA quotes that reflected my research. He never pushed any options, but he let me know what was available. He handed me over to Manny who helped me with financing and finalizing all the details. I walked away with a car I love and look forward to going back to Shaker in the future for servicing and more. Thank you James for providing the best possible car buying experience! More
