In for service, out with new car :) I went to Shaker's Kia for my routine service appointment. While waiting, Rudy came into the waiting area to make sure I didn't need anything, inquire I went to Shaker's Kia for my routine service appointment. While waiting, Rudy came into the waiting area to make sure I didn't need anything, inquired about my lease and we started talking about my next vehicle, as my lease was up in a few months. He came up with a great new lease for me, an upgrade from my Sportage to a Sorento with better features and a better payment. I didn't feel pressured to buy or lease anything that day but he gave me such a great deal, I couldn't refuse. He was so nice and patient (insurance gave him a hard time). He just called today because I left a house key on my Sportage key ring and held it for me. I can't imagine going anywhere else. More

I kept my car alive as long as possible, but after 5 years of struggling with a lemon of a used 2001 Subaru Outback, I'd finally lost the battle on a I kept my car alive as long as possible, but after 5 years of struggling with a lemon of a used 2001 Subaru Outback, I'd finally lost the battle on a xxxx Monday evening last week. I knew it was coming, I'd been watching Craigslist and shoppers guides and local ads for about 5 months prior, no used vehicle was under 10 years old and nothing had less than 100,000 miles under the hood....definitely NOTHING of any worth in my price-range! After a particularly dismal day of looking at used cars, my mother suggested Shaker's Kia down in Watertown, CT. She and my father had bought 6 cars from the Shaker dealerships over the course of almost 2 decades, of course I had to trust their judgement on this matter as this would be my first new-for-me car at 28 years old. The associate I happened to work with was Adam Amato and holy cow, I will never look in a shoppers guide AGAIN for vehicles! I test-drove three immaculate certified used vehicles over the course of two days with Adam, he answered every one of my five thousand questions, and he also gave me words of wisdom and ENCOURAGEMENT. No-one should ever have to pay the same amount for a car with over 100,000 miles on it, as a car with only 30,000 miles on it and a 100,000 mile warranty! Thats just ridiculous!! They worked with me on the price and payment options, and I walked out of there with a 2011 Kia Forte SX hatchback with only 37,000k on it. I could have written a review about how much getting a newer car has changed my life, and how its the nicest car I've ever driven...but this review it about how awesome their dealership was and how well I was treated there. I will continue to do my business with Shaker, and I will take full advantage of their awesome customer loyalty perks! Thank you guys so much! More
