I brought my car in for the tires. My rear passenger side tire was leaking air - it dropped around 8-9 PSI overnight during one of our heatwaves, it’s only a little over 6mos old now a My rear passenger side tire was leaking air - it dropped around 8-9 PSI overnight during one of our heatwaves, it’s only a little over 6mos old now and still under warranty. For some reason they popped the hood on my car to diagnose my tire leak, but I’m no mechanic. I just remember thinking “that’s odd” when I saw it popped when the tech, Robert? I can’t remember his name..but he said he doesn’t do the actual work on the cars and that they may or may not rotate my tires if they were able to get the tar off and not have to replace the tire, but either way, I never got to have any conversation with the person who actually worked on my car, but I digress. So, I thought this was odd when he brought me out to show me this new tar on my front driver side tire and was talking so quickly about everything my brain after a long day at work didn’t get much of a chance to question the hood being ajar, but again, I’m no mechanic. Fast forward to my leaving the service center to head home, unbeknownst to me, the tech/mechanic/whoever never closed the hood on my vehicle. They ran my car through their car wash with it ajar, and then it wasn’t until I got passed blind tiger and up to a decent speed that I noticed my hood shaking. So, I pulled over, got out to see what was going on. Luckily I noticed it BEFORE I hit the highway. It was just very upsetting, and even more upsetting after I told my family and friends about it and their reactions were all shock and upset too, along with some stories of how bad that could’ve been had I made it on to the highway like that, scary. And ever since my visit, there has been a rattling noise from my rearview mirror? Which is just odd and honestly annoying given the age of the vehicle. More
