2019 Kia Sportage dropped off on Aug. 4th! Today is Aug. 18th. Still no car, no repairs, no communication, nor do i even know what is the EXACT matter with the car! This has been a nightmare. GM Angela Baker has taken no responsibility, offered nothing. When i met her last Thurs (Aug. 14), she took it personally. She was not professional. She threw her service tech & her finance dept under the bus, told me that the GM, Patrick Duffer was in Alaska (almost begrudging the fact "he was on vacation!") Angela took no accountability, stating "i didn't do it!" (One critique Angela, when you are a GM, it is ALL your responsibility!) You are representing your company....this is NOT a personal issue! I asked to speak with a GM on day 3...Lily wanted to handle this. Lily's input was (on Aug. 6).."possible engine replacement, or you could get new spark plugs for drivability." Ha. is this a joke? I feel that this must be a prank. I did call KIA's main line and spoke to Frankie. (Frankie could not have been kinder and showed me nothing but respect. Total opposite treatment from SM Kia service team.) He entered a report on my behalf for the dealership. I would suggest to anyone going thru what we/I have, AND STILL ARE, to contact Kia at 800-333-4542 to inform them of the dealership and the issues you are having. I feel totally lost on what to do. This is week THREE (3) AND TO DATE, SM Kia has not even diagnosed the problem! (Other than, "spark plugs or a new engine".) I have never brought a car to a shop and it sat for 3 weeks with NO exact diagnosis. And if a NEW ENGINE is needed, on a 2019 Kia Sportage with 87,000 miles, that in itself is mind blowing! But, i have an extended warranty sold to me by SM Kia. SM KIA is the one that is selling extended warranties for this company, than it must be reputable and must be honored. Again, still in the midst of all of this. No resolutions offered, no direction, NO COMMUNICATION nothing! It is 315pm, NO call, no text, nothing from SM Kia. So for anyone reading this, please keep Elizabeth & Janie in your prayers. Pray that we get this resolved in a kind, respectful, timely manner and all will be good.
