We actually came to this dealership with the thought of just looking at a car, not actually purchasing it. TO came out to the car and took us over to the used car lot. He worked with us on the price that m just looking at a car, not actually purchasing it. TO came out to the car and took us over to the used car lot. He worked with us on the price that my mother was looking for. We took the car for a test drive but I wasn't settled on the car for my mom. We actually went to lunch & checked out a car at another lot that had less miles and was cheaper but that dealership wasn't as professional as TO and Shawnee Mission Kia. We purchased the car from them because of their customer service. More
I bought a Kia Forte Koup, love it. Then the following week I was hospitalized (I am in the hospital now) and Marty called to check in on me. I called asking for Stone Lemana who was referred to me by a friend of mine who purchased a Kia from Stone at Shawnee Mission Kia in Dec. 2008. I liked her "ride" and was finally ready to purchase a new ca by a friend of mine who purchased a Kia from Stone at Shawnee Mission Kia in Dec. 2008. I liked her "ride" and was finally ready to purchase a new car for myself. I called him on a Friday so we could get the paperwork going. He told me everything I needed to bring in the following Monday, which saved me lots of time and trouble. That was my first great impression of Stone and Kia. I have had some credit issues but I was reassured that they wanted to help me and explained to me what they would do to fit my budget and get me a nice car. That was my second great impression. That took the scare away and made me feel "credit worthy". Since Stone knew what I wanted, he had the perfect car wating for me; a Kia Amanti. It's beautiful, drives as smooth as glasss, and has all the bells and whistles I wanted, plus a few more to my surprise. I was treated very respectfully by all the staff and Stone if fun to work with. He has a delightful personality and made the car buying experience easy. Of course the financing is always a little nerve racking, however Bobby C. made it as painless as possible by visiting with us about our lives and his too. So the financing part was also a good experience. Now I not only have a sharp Amanti, but peace of mind with Kia's warranty, which includes a five star saftey rating and very reasonalbe insurance rates. If I could offer a piece of advice...test drive a Kia. I'm sure Stone will be happy to help. More
Jeff greeted me at the door, and was friendly but not overpowering. The whole experience was great. I have not so good credit and I was treated with respect. Unlike Olathe Kia that salesperson was rude f overpowering. The whole experience was great. I have not so good credit and I was treated with respect. Unlike Olathe Kia that salesperson was rude from the start and I will never recommend anyone to go to Olathe when Shawnee Mission is not that far away and you are treated so much better. The whole experience was enjoyable. Jeff is a wonderful personable young man. He answered all my questions patiently and made sure I was in control of the process, not him. I liked not being sold but treated like a valuable customer. More

The first van we picked was wrecked when they picked it up to bring it back. We picked a different van and after 3 trip and 6-8 hours we finally got our van. A couple months later I ran over something on the highway and punctured the gas tank. I took it in for repair and turned the claim over to insurance. I read the documents submitted to insurance and the quoted price included $25 of replacement gas. I got there to pick up the van (with 2 very small children in tow) and was told insurance didn't cover the gas (yet I paid the same quoted price). I left there and was able to make it to the gas station (thank goodness). But, I felt this was poor service for such an expensive repair. I would have paid extra not to have had to worry about making it to the gas station while transporting a 2 year old an a 6 month old. I posted this once before and was told they would send a check for this "error". That was almost 2 weeks ago and nothing yet. I then called and was told they would check into. I didn't get a call back and still no check as promised. I probably won't return for future work. More
I went to have my 2002 Rio's Rear Wheel Bearings replaced but, soon discovered that I had a far more serious problem. In frustration, I decided it would be best that I view and consider a new vehicle. Althou but, soon discovered that I had a far more serious problem. In frustration, I decided it would be best that I view and consider a new vehicle. Although, I originally envisioned purchasing the 2010 Forte, my salesperson (Bo Hardy), successfully encouraged me to "think" about the purchase of a 2010 Optima. I had NEVER even consider this vehicle, but after having a chance to look it over and check out some of its rating (Motor Trend, Consumer Reports, etc...) I decided it would be a great buy. Unfortunately, I still had a negative equity in the 2002 Rio (had purchased it only 1 year earlier as a "go about" vehicle) Bo, worked out a little "magic" and helped to secure me few fantastic rebates and a fairly decent trade-in amount for the Rio. Way to Go, Bo!! The overall service was very good. I was looking at new cars at 7:30am; even Bo, wasn't expecting a "buy" that early in the morning. My experience with the Financial Manager went quick and smoothly. With the exception of his suggestion of that the 'ol "STOP GAP" Insurance, it really was a rather pleasurable experience. I can assure you, I'll tell my friends/family about my experience and to give Bo Hardy/Shawnee Mission Kia, the thumbs up if a new vehichle is needed. More
I drove to Kia to "just look" and ended up leaving with a car! Marty was awesome from the start! I was given a tour of the building and met several nice associates. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They helped us get what we wanted. Kevin was able to point out feature that I wouldn't have used right away, because I wouldn't have know about them. He was able to explaine everything in detail, some I would have never thought to ask about, but would have wanted to know within the first week of owning the car, like how to remove the spring loaded cargo cover. While we were doing paper work the shop put in car mats, washed it, and filled the tank. We will highly recommend Shawnee Mission Kia. More

Our sales person, Begi, is one of the sweetest people that I have met in quite some time. She was knowledgeable, but humble enough to tell us that she didn't know the answer to what we were asking, and would find the answer. Which she did! It's not hard to tell when someone is insincere, and insincere is not a word that can describe Begi! I honestly feel like she and her manager, Mike, bent over backwards to treat us right. I know for a fact that Mike did more than he had to just to make sure we were happy. The thing I think I liked best about the dealership is, there wasn't any beating around the bush or trying to sugar-coat anything. The way they presented themselves and their vehicles is the way that they were. Simple, concise, and accurate. I am completely satisfied with my new (used) Sorrento, and will definitely recommend this dealership to anyone needing a vehicle. Shawnee Mission Kia will be my first stop, the next time I'm shopping for a car. Thank you!!! More
