- Asked for Synthetic. Received non-synthetic (at $180?) - Booked transmission diagnosis a week in advance. Told upon arrival that the transmission guy does not work weekends and we would have to rebook or leave the car for the week. - What became an oil change only appointment took from 930a to 430p. Upon arrival for pickup, the customer in front of us in line was complaining about similar issues to those listed here. As soon as she turned her back, the representative looked at us, mouthed “oh my god” and rolled his eyes at her before starting in with us. - Out of our last 7 appointments booked in advance, we’ve been outright turned away when arriving on time for our appointment 3 times (once even after we called the day before to confirm) and partially deferred once (this recent transmission visit). Someone needs to start… - reviewing appointments in advance - restricting online bookings to only what service can handle - training the service team to be more consistently customer minded (note: I want to be clear that some of the service team members are really great, but we also see several that are consistently poor-to-bad but never seem to improve or get weeded out). All in, we understand Sheehy Gaithersburg is one of the better Ford service departments in the area, but some very major areas of opportunity for improvement remain.
