Dishonest, went back on a written quote After agreed on a quote on email for a F150. My husband and I went in to finalize the purchase, half way through after process with our trade in and s After agreed on a quote on email for a F150. My husband and I went in to finalize the purchase, half way through after process with our trade in and stuff, the manager came out and told us the price that was quote is wrong and they will be loosing money at that price and told us it's $1500 more than what agreed. Well, we left. I read about this online that some dealers do this to online shoppers to just get them in the door and change the price when everything in motion to make it hard for them to walk away and just go with the increased price. My poor husband was really disappointed and sad because it is his 50th birthday gift and that ruined it, but he soon realized it was the right thing to do to walk out and not condone this practice. We went to another dealer and got him his truck on the same day with just few hundred dollars more in a color that my husband likes better. I just want to share my experience so other people take caution with this dealer especially if shop online. More
