The reason for my 5 star rating is the outstanding service provided to me by Kate V I just bought a 2017 Ford Mustang at Sheehy Ford in Gaithersburg. The reason for my 5 star rating is the outstanding service provided to me by Kate Van Arnum, who I met by chance at the dealership. It is very rare that I feel I've received outstanding service. Kate definitely provided that. I warned her after first meeting her that if she doesn't have a lot of patience she should not work with me. That's because I am a very highly educated mechanical engineer, a researcher with high standards who asks many questions and never rushes to do anything. I first stopped at the dealership where Kate works in April 2017. I realized when I went on a test drive with Kate and my friend Victor that she was unusual in going out of her way to make a customer happy. To my and Victor's surprise she said she'd sit in the back seat of the car and let Victor sit in the front seat, even though the back seats are not very roomy or comfortable. I sent Kate many questions by e-mail. She answered just about every one, even though during that time she had some family problems. If she could not answer a question she researched it and sent me links to articles where I could find the answer to my question. Because I wanted only one option on my car Kate suggested I order it directly from the factory. I ordered my car on July 20, 2017. Kate kept me informed as to where the car was and when it would arrive, which was in early October 2017. She continued to be very helpful after the car came in. When I complained to Kate that there were some spots on the car she got a cloth and cleaned it herself to my satisfaction. When I realized after I got home in my new car that my temporary registration was not in the car she brought it to me at my home. Kate definitely goes the extra mile. She is extremely patient and persistence in making the customer happy. I wish I could get the service I got from her everywhere! She is a credit to Sheehy Ford. Excellent Experience with Mike!!! Could not be happier with our experience. We were looking at 4 other makes from other dealerships, not even thinking about a Ford. I stopped in to look at a Fusion and Michael Engelmann took care of me. We test drove and I really fell in love with the car over every other car we had test drove. However, we had a set number in place and this car was higher than the number. Mike tried his best to get us the best number he could, and got closer, but I still walked out that day knowing we didn't want to spend that much. Mike called my cell phone a few times with additional offers doing his best to make the deal work. Not once did he ever appear frustrated and actually was genuine in understanding our situation and why we were trading in our vehicle. It was about reducing cost as we had a really nice 3 year old suv so we weren't pressed about having to make a deal. At the end of the day, Mike got the deal done and we could not be happier! More
