Disappointed This review and explanation is in response to being recently contacted by Sheehy Ford asking why I left a negative review on a survey that the Ford M This review and explanation is in response to being recently contacted by Sheehy Ford asking why I left a negative review on a survey that the Ford Motor Company sent to me asking about my experience in dealing with Sheehy Ford. It began when I found a truck on the internet that I was interested in that was at Sheehy Ford. After looking over and reading the reviews of others that dealt with Sheehy Ford it appeared that they were a reputable business to deal with. So I contacted them about the f150 I was interested in and ask if they would send me an itemized OTD (out the door) price quote. I received an invite from Brandon Evans to come in and take a look at the truck I explained to him that I lived approx.. 4 hrs. away and getting a quote would be helpful in deciding on making the trip to their dealership or not. I received a itemized quote from Brandon on 4/02/17. I thanked him for the quote and then informed him that the OTD price was a bit more than I had budgeted to spend. Brandon responded back to me saying that they like to try to work with folks on pricing and after talking to his sales manager he could take another $500 of the quoted price. I thanked him again, but informed him that it was still more than my budget. I then mentioned that possibly with the upcoming holiday's Ford might be offering more rebates that might help in buying the truck providing they still had it for sale. After two weeks or so I was contacted by Brandon asking how my shopping was going. I said I was still looking and then I figured I would mention to him that along with my budgeted amount I had an additional $700-$900 set aside to buy some extras for the truck (bed liner, tonneau cover, rubber floor mat's, box side steps, etc.) that if I included would get me close enough to the OTD quote that I could manage it. I then thought what the heck I would put this out there and ask Brandon that if I were to consider putting the additional $700-$900 towards the truck could he throw in a couple of hat's, enough gas to get me on my way home and possibly include and or work with me on the pricing of the extras I wanted to get. I then said if he could I would be there with a smile, hand shake and test drive. Brandon replied and said he would include two hat's,gas ,bed liner and rubber floor mats and would split the price of the tonneau cover at their cost, but could do nothing about the box side steps. He then mentioned that if I liked the deal he ask that I come in before the end of April and if unable to then to wait until mid to later May as it was more incentive to come in by the end of the month. I told him I couldn't make with only three day's left till the end of April so I would plan for later in May. Brandon contacted me in mid May to find out when I was planning on coming in. I gave Brandon a date and then mentioned to him that since we last talked I noticed on their internet site that they showed 4 cash incentives, two of which had just been introduced in mid May for the truck I was interested in. The new incentives totaled $5250 which was $1250 more than the $4000 that was on my original quote he sent me. I then questioned him about being entitled to the additional $1250. Brandon then said my area that I would be registering the vehicle in has $500 less rebate then his area which is why initially he showed a rebate of 4000 instead of 4500. Now the rebate has gone up to $750 more in my area not the $1250 for his area. I then asked Brandon if he would give me a revised OTD quote that included the $500 off his manager confirmed ,the additional $750 rebate and all the extras that were to be included with the sale (bed liner, tonneau cover, etc),which Brandon did. The day before going to the dealership on two separate occasion's I intentionally contacted Brandon and asked him to confirm the total OTD amount along with everything that was to be included with the sale. Both times he confirmed the total and the extras and told me I was 100% correct on what I expected the total OTD to be along with the extras upon arriving. I then explained to Brandon that by asking him twice I wasn't trying to offend him in any way it was that I just didn't want there to be any mistakes or misunderstandings after arriving and that I wanted there to be a mutual agreement between us. The next day my brother and I arrived at Sheehy Ford ,met Brandon and took the truck for a test drive. After coming back I went into the dealership sat down with Brandon and told him I wanted to buy the truck. This unfortunately is where the whole ordeal began. Brandon proceeded to tell me that there had been a mistake made and that after looking at the quote he sent me he realized that he had originally included the additional $750 rebate and if I wanted to buy the truck it would be $750 more. I told Brandon that I believed he was wrong. He then presented the quote he sent me and pointed out to me that the rebate amount was $4750. After looking over the quote I then informed Brandon that I had never seen this quote before. He said he was certain that he sent this quote to me and that I was mistaken. I then reached into my folder that I had taken along that contained a copy of every email communication and the original quote he had sent me. I then showed Brandon the quote he had sent me and began to question him about his quote he claimed to have sent me. (1) The date 4/20/17 was about 3 weeks after I had first contacted him. (2) Most of the amounts like the discount, rebate (my quote $4000, his quote $4750) and fees where all different than on my quote. (3) When I mentioned to him about the new rebates totaling $5250 he said I was entitled to $500 less which would be $4750, and then pointed out to him just as he told me,hence that's why I originally gave you $4000 and not the $4500 that the MD area is entitled to. (4) How did he include the additional new rebate on his quote 4/20/17 when according to Sheehy's site the rebates apparently were the same from when I contacted him up until mid May when the new rebates were introduced. Brandon said he was confused and ask to take my quote as he wanted to talk to his sales manager. When Brandon came back he said that his sales manager did some refiguring and that I would know only owe an additional $160 to buy the truck. I told Brandon that this wasn't the OTD amount he confirmed and agreed to at least 4-5 times and 2 of which he confirmed in less than 16 hrs. before. I then told him that what upset me more than the money was the principle of the matter of our agreement and the dishonesty. Brandon apologized and said he understood and didn't blame me for being upset and that he wouldn't hold it against me if I decided to leave and not buy the truck. I asked Brandon for a few minutes to talk to my brother and think things over. Brandon came back and ask me what I decided and I told him that even though I questioned this so called mistake I would be willing to accept half of a mistake that wasn't mine and pay half of the $160. Brandon smiled and said that he thought that it was a fair offer and he would accept it. He then asked in return to accepting the offer that I would promise to give Sheehy Ford a positive review as they take pride in their customer service and then pointed out their awards. I told him as long as we can be civil and work things out I had no problem with giving them a positive review. He told me he was certain everything would be ok, but as a formality he had to run it by his sales manager and would be right back. Shortly after Brandon left another man sat down introduced himself as Brandon's sales manager Cory Belcher and then proceeded to bluntly tell me that he would not accept my offer, that he was already losing $2000 on the truck and he was not going to lose anymore. He then said if he had to choose between getting a negative review or selling the truck for any less he would prefer getting a negative review whether he sold the truck or not then to take any less for the truck, so therefore the $160 above my quoted price would stand and was not negotiable. I responded to Cory by saying you mean to tell me we just drove over 4hrs. through two accidents to get here for an agreement that Brandon confirmed two times in less than 16 hrs. ago, and even after me willing to accept part of this so called mistake your not willing to work with me on this. I then said you couldn't even think to throw in a couple of shirt's or hat's as a gesture that your trying. Understand I was angry at this point and didn't care about the shirts or hats as I was trying to prove a point on how inconsiderate I felt he was being. Cory then in a condescending and rude tone said I don't know how much plainer I can put this, it's not like we have a free parts bin to keep giving things away for free and so the $160 stands and I have nothing further to say on this matter ,so it's your choice, your decision and I will leave you to make your decision. Being upset and angry my brother and I got up left the building as I had pretty much every intention on leaving. While walking around outside, had it not been for the reasoning voice of my brother talking things over with me as he knew that I liked the truck and also thinking to myself how selfish would I be to of ask my brother to take a whole day of his time and vacation and drive me all the way down here just to leave with nothing to show for. So I calmed down and went back in and talked to Brandon and told him I would pay the extra $160 and buy the truck if he could guarantee that he would have everything with the truck he agreed to include before I left that day. Brandon said yes he could and so I bought the truck. As far as me rating Brandon I have mixed thoughts. In one hand I hold Brandon partly accountable as he is the one who made the original agreement on the OTD price along with the extras that he included and then confirmed everything the day before arriving. It's only after arriving I'm not sure how much of the deal was still in his hands. That being said, on the other hand what I can say positive about Brandon is that he was professional, polite and at least showed a willingness to try to work things out. With Cory Belcher I have no mixed thoughts. For his condescending, rude and inconsiderate attitude I have no problem with honoring his choice and giving a negative review just as he rudely told me he preferred. So Sheehy Ford can thank Mr. Belcher for the negative review. This is something I would like direct towards the general manager. How would you feel because you were willing to believe and trust the reputation of the dealership along with the people who your are dealing with to take them at their word and confirmation on an agreement and then upon arriving after driving over 4 hrs. are told there was a mistake made and now you have to pay $750 more? Then after proving the mistake was theirs and you didn't owe any extra , they then with no explaination as to why say your going to have to pay $160 more. So you then try to be reasonable and make an offer to compromise for a mistake that wasn't yours and meet them half way. Your offer is throwed back in your face and you are treated like you are the dishonest one trying to get more and are told to take it or leave it. You realize you just drove over 4 hrs and this is their show of appreciation. I ask you personally what kind of review would you leave this dealership? It appears that with all the positive reviews Sheehy Ford may for the most part be a decent and honest dealership to deal with. It's a shame my brother and I didn't get to experience that side of the dealership the day we were there. More

H Recently bought a new car at Sheehy from salesperson Matt Myint. He was knowledgeable about the cars and the promotional rebate programs they offer. He helped me get the car I wanted at the best possible price. No high pressure sales tactics, just trying to help us with what we wanted. Also helpful was how accommodating the Sheehy team was with my 5&4 yr old daughters who could get impatient with sitting at a dealership. They offered them snacks and stuff to draw with so they stayed busy and happy. I'll definitely shop here again. More

Called the Sheehy dealership the next morning to determine if that truck was still available. Had the fortune to have Guillermo "Willy" Brandon answer our call. He located the truck, so we told him we'd be there in about an hour. What a pleasure he was to work with. He thoroughly explained features on the vehicle, entertained us with his friendly demeanor, and never pushed us into making a decision. The entire experience was made easy due to his handling. Even the finance portion went smoothly. A long day, but we went home with the truck we had been searching for. Our thanks to the staff at Sheehy, especially Willy. More
