I am shocked to see an average of 4.8 stars. We purchased both of our cars from Sheehy in Springfield. We moved to Frederick area in 2016. Our cars have never been serviced elsewhere. Sheehy Gai purchased both of our cars from Sheehy in Springfield. We moved to Frederick area in 2016. Our cars have never been serviced elsewhere. Sheehy Gaithersburg, while most having polite and professional service staff at the desk, does sloppy and atrocious work. Our average maintenance for the two cars annually is about $4,000. More recently, I spent nearly $4,000 on my Ford Flex after bringing it in twice for a check engine light. The first time they found nothing. Two months later it was found that the catalytic converter needed to be replaced as did the steering column tie rods. Less than two weeks later I began feeling a strange sound coming from the A/C unit. It appears it needs a recharge. In addition, there seems to be some sort of problem with acceleration and the car jerking around. I also found a $200 piece of equipment left in the trunk and a day later discovered that the folding automatic seats must have been disconnected because they do not work now. This is the not first time that either work was left incomplete or that things were missed. It is constant. I live 20 miles from the service center. So it is not convenient to have to go back multiple times in a month to do the same work over and over. The car gets regularly scheduled maintenance. There' no excuse to miss these items. There are checklists for this purpose. I have left messages for the General Manage with whom I have spoken in the past. I am now prepared to take vehicle and its entire work history, which I have to a third party for a review and audit. I think the service manage is part of the issue. I have spoken to him in the past and he has promised improved performance, but in the end it comes across as empty lip service. Clearly, there is no one minding the store at Sheehy. More
