I first read about the new CT200h hybrid in March and I first read about the new CT200h hybrid in March and went to the Lexus website to build my dream car. Shortly thereafter, I was contacted by Chris List and an almost 5 month email friendship began. There were no models to test drive at the time and the tsunami that devastated Japan also devastated my attempt to purchase the vehicle. I put a deposit down and was put on a wait list for my car. At some point, Sheehy had a car available to test drive, so we made the almost 2 hour trek from Southern Maryland to Annapolis. I knew I had made the right decision after I had the opportunity to drive that car. From March until my car arrived in August, Chris and I were in frequent email contact about where I was on the wait list and he faithfully answered every question I had about the car during that time (he even put up with my quirky sense of humor). At another point in the waiting period, I was sent a new iPod Shuffle from Lexus - I don't know if that was from the dealership or from the larger Lexus company, but it was a nice touch to let me know that my patience was appreciated. On the day that we went to finally purchase the car, Chris greeted us at the door and led us to see it - he had put a big red bow on it! I have been to many dealerships where the purchase of a new car took the better part of the day. But Chris had handled almost everything before we got there and we ended up spending a little less than 2 hours there (about a half hour of that was spent in the vehicle reviewing the navigation system and other technology). The process at Sheehy was definitely streamlined and well-organized. Because of the service we have seen thus far, I would definitely recommend this dealership to friends who are in need of a new vehicle and should I ever be in the market for a new car in the future, Sheehy of Annapolis will be the first place I contact. I am a very happy customer. The first Lexus I bought in the Fall of 2009, I was very impressed with the dealership and Erick Morris, our salesman. The major reason for buying at Sheehy was our salesman, who is friendly and easy to work with. He introduced us to the key members of the staff who were also very welcoming. The second major reason was the facility, which is clean, well maintained with a very comfortable waiting area. When I bring my car in for service, the staff is ready to provide excellent customer care. I wish all dealerships would use Sheehy as their model. In the Spring of 2011, Erick Morris, our salesman called with a very good deal to trade in my 2010 model for a 2011 model. We came in, looked at the available stock and drove away in a new car with no pressure or hassle. And lastly, someone always calls after each visit to see if everything went well. Dwaine Duvall More

The price was marked good, because we feel we did not get a fair price on our trade-in of our minivan. Otherwise, all the other components of purchasing the new RX 350 went well. Erick followed up with e-mails and phone calls to check on our progress in the operation of the vehicle. He offered additional demonstrations on any facet that we had not mastered, especially with the navigation and other settings. More

I'd been to another Lexus dealership in the area and the exchange left me unhappy and uncomfortable. Shandrial walked me through the process, advised me of the options available and maintained frequent communication as I waited for delivery. In the interim, I visited the dealership to familiarize myself with a similar vehicle and another member of the team assisted me (Chris). He was very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. When my vehicle arrived Shandrial made the purchase process simple. Her easy and pleasant demeanor made my purchase stress free. Overall for professionalism this team gets the highest rating. Rachael Holderied took excellent care of me and made my purchase of a previously owned SC430 as easy as could be. Rachael also went well out of her way to research some of my unusual questions about aftermarket options and was always quick to respond with valuable information. We have another Lexus purchased form Al, which was also an easy buying experience. I will also say that the service department has been truly exceptional -- they consistently exceeded my very high expectations in all regards. I absolutely recommend this dealer, Rachael Holderied, Al Trojanowski, and the service department with my utmost enthusiasm. More
I had contacted Sheehy Lexus regarding a certified pre-owned Lexus RX350 that I had been looking for. I searched cross country for the car, so I know the car very well. I am also a lexus forum member, with great "inside information" regarding dealers and how much they truly make on cars, as well as how much can be negotiated, etc. With this in mind, along with the previous 4 Lexus cars that I have owned, and the countless Toyotas, needless to stay I'm no stranger to the brand, nor cars. I had given my offer, based on what CPO's go for for that car, in a proper certifed pre-owned condition. We eventually agreed to an offer. Based on Tara's eventual great misinterpretation of the car via email/and photo's of the car, I had given my offer. As she knew, I live 800 miles away (round trip) and that I needed proper honest information on the car. She described the car as having a "tiny tiny scratch". She took pictures of the scratch, as I have saved in my email, showing nothing there. Figuring that this is really a non-discernible, and based on all the false information (which I find out later when I see the car in person), I decided to pursue this car, and leave the other cars I have been looking for, and put a deposit down. I drove 8 hrs, stayed in a hotel overnight, then went to see the car the next day. The "tiny tiny scratch" as she misrepresented greatly was actually an arms length scratch, with satellite scratches around it. It was touched up by touch up paint to make matters worse, which looked horrible. Also, there were many other scratches, dents, and dings, etc that I decided to forgive as it is a used car. However, it is a certified pre-owned, and it should have been taken care of before I got there. In fact, per my email, I told her repeatedly that I'm not in a rush to pick up the car, and that all issues should be taken care of. She lied by saying the car was ready and that I should come by the weekend ASAP. I was so fixated on the misrepresentation of the scratch, and the long driving that I was really upset. Unfortunately, being stuck test driving the car during a rush hour weekend traffic, as well as having the car in service for condensation of a headlight, didn't let me thoroughly inspect the car as I planned. They knocked off $100 claiming that fixing that scratch, with their discount, would be $130, which was another lie, as my body shop that I go to said it was at least $700 to repair. Interestingly, it seems as if she took a picture so close up of a non-problematic part of the car, with the flash on, to portray no issues of the scratch (email with attachment saved). After arriving home, I noticed that there were huge curb damage to the wheels, and that it even looked like chunks were missing from a few wheels. ALL of the wheels had bad, unaccecptable curb rashes. When I contacted Tara about the issue, that's when her true side started to come out. She was very misleading, lied about everything, and was very not helpful. She told me that they would give me their discount but that I would have to come down and drive 2 days, 800 miles for the wheels to be repair. Keep in mind this should have been taken care of as part of the certified pre-owned process. I also didn't get a certified pre-owned checklist, which per lexus.com (available in a pdf format, stating "dealer copy, and customer copy"), lexus customer service, and forums all say you, as the customer, are supposed to receive. It basically shows the 161 point checklist showing either the item inspected was up to lexus standards, or if it had to have been repaired or replaced. The dealer purposefully didn't include it in my folder. When I asked tara about it, she said that they "...don't give that checklist to the customers". Also, she made a mockery of me wanting to do a throughout inspection of a 30K used car. Are you paying me for the car? I didn't think so. It seems what the dealer did was cut many corners to make it certified, and only did the repairs that they could bill Lexus for, to make the biggest profit margin on the car, and not care about the customer. It is a car sales to them, but it is a car that we will own for many years. I didn't expect this type of "used car salesman" behavior based on the reviews on this website, but unfortunately, it seems that they must pull a lot of "fast ones" to customers not in the know. I have contacted the general manager of the Lexus dealership, and he didn't care to return my phone call to discuss these issues. Goes to show the true face of the dealer. Unfortunately, I've learned my lesson the hard way, but I really do hope that a potential customer of Sheehy Lexus will read this, and really do a throughout inspection of the car, and I would urge the customer to actually deal via email to have everything in writing, as they will say one thing in the email, and another thing on the phone. If you do plan on having any interest on a car that they have and you live far away, I would really hope you either have proper documentation/pictures and make sure you have in writing that a deposit is refundable if not as described, or better yet, have a family/friend/forum member inspect the car for you before hand. I look forward to the survey that Lexus is going to send me via mail, so I can voice my concerns of this dealership that cut corners to maximize profits, without helping customers, or doing what is right regarding the certified pre-owned process. Chris List actually had the audacity to try to rip me off in a response email stating they would offer $100 to repair all the wheels. Um, I'm not sure what decade he's living in, but $100 would take care of 1 wheel, NOT including re-mounting and balancing. Now I am stuck with now wheels that were supposed to be taken care of as part of a certified pre-owned process, and they cost $500-600 to repair. I'm also stuck with scratches that look horrible. I will definitely keep sheehy lexuus in mind, to avoid, for my next lexus purchase. I will inform my colleagues at work, and I've already informed my fellow forum members of this situation. More

I was looking at a Matador Red GS 350, it was/is absolutely beautiful. Mr. Fox came right out, introduced himself and told me about the vehicle. I was with a co-worker who was also admiring the car. Mr. Fox retrieved the keys and we went for a test drive. Game, set, match, it was all over. Between Mr. Fox' courtesy, and attention and the beautiful vehicle, it was a great experience.
