Absolute greedy dealership trying to sell a Lexus IS 500 at 15k over sticker. The sales manager is greedy and it’s unbelievable they are still trying to price gouge in 2026. The MSRP is about 70k, he said h at 15k over sticker. The sales manager is greedy and it’s unbelievable they are still trying to price gouge in 2026. The MSRP is about 70k, he said he was taking offers starting at 15k over MSRP. So now we are talking about 85k for a Lexus IS. Think about what other cars could be bought for 85k then compare them to the IS, there is no comparison. The Lexus is outdated. Lexus has done their own market research for pricing and found a niche for this car at the 70k mark, but the dealer is being greedy and adding $15,000 pricing the car out of its league. Ridiculous. If I could give zero stars, I would. I spent the entire day on the phone with this dealership negotiating and confirming a deal on a specific vehicle. After multiple conversations, we I spent the entire day on the phone with this dealership negotiating and confirming a deal on a specific vehicle. After multiple conversations, we reached an agreement and I began driving to the dealership to complete the purchase. I was told the car was being held for me. While I was en route, they contacted me to say the vehicle had been sold to someone who purchased it online. They knowingly sold the car to someone else after making a confirmed deal with me and while I was already on my way to the dealership. When I questioned how this could happen, I was told that because they have multiple salespeople and multiple buildings, there was “no way for them to know” someone else was selling or buying the same vehicle. That explanation is simply unacceptable. Internal disorganization is not the customer’s responsibility, and it certainly doesn’t excuse failing to honor a commitment. Even more concerning, I was casually told that “this happens all the time,” and no effort was made to fix the situation. No accountability. No attempt to make it right. Just indifference. The manager, Chris List, dismissed my concerns by saying, “Well, we heard you are looking at other cars,” as though that somehow justified selling a vehicle out from under a committed customer. This experience felt underhanded and extremely unprofessional. A deal should mean something. Integrity and basic communication should be standard practice. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. More
