A special thanks to Nikki in the service department. My son was traveling through Virginia when his key broke in the door. Without a spare, needless to say my son was in a little predicament. She was very helpful and responded promptly to get him back on the road as soon as possible. She even provided him with a shuttle to his hotel where he could wait for the spare key to come in. As a parent 1,500 miles away I was limited in what I could do. It was comforting to know Shelor and Nikki were there helping him. Thank you, Nikki! More
After explaining the problem, and leaving our vehicle for repair, we get a call after 30 minutes saying the malfunction message I was seeing was normal. I had to return to the dealership to demonstrate the m repair, we get a call after 30 minutes saying the malfunction message I was seeing was normal. I had to return to the dealership to demonstrate the malfunction light. Also, and this must be the dealership policy, I had to agree to a $150.00 max diagnostic fee for them to look at it, which was not waived after I okayed them to repair the vehicle, so we had to pay $322 labor for a $89 part. Also, I called back while the vehicle was there to request additional work done and told a service person what I wanted done and that I wanted the service advisor to call me back.I’d called her number twice but she never answered and she didn’t answer the person I was talking too, either. Needless to say, We never got a callback. As it turned out the extra work didn’t get done, which, as it turns out, will save us a lot of money by having another garage do the work. Very disappointed that Shealor would treat their customers like that. More
