EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!! My husband and I had been looking for a smaller more fuel efficient vehicle for over 3 weeks, We were having no luck!! Most dealerships we visited didn't even seem interested in selli for a smaller more fuel efficient vehicle for over 3 weeks, We were having no luck!! Most dealerships we visited didn't even seem interested in selling us a car once we told them the amount of mileage we were looking for and our price range. I was starting to think I wouldnt be getting a newer car anytime soon afterall, Luckily a friend of mine told me her daughter had bought a car from Shelor Motor Mile several years ago and that they were very good with financing for her and their prices were very reasonable! So my husband and I decided to give it a try! I inquired on their website on Friday night, and first thing Saturday morning I received a call from Erik at Shelor, He answered every single question I had about their vehicles and their financing program, we talked about my credit options and my payment options, I was definetly well informed! And for the first time since we had started car shopping I was told, "I believe we can help you get the car you want!" I was so excited, I couldnt believe I was actually one step closer to parking my gas guzzling V8! Erik then set an appointment up for my husband and I at the dealership on that very day! Erik informed me he wouldnt be in the dealership that day to meet us, But we would be well taken care of! He even gave me his cell number so we could call him from the dealership if we needed anything or had any questions about the person helping us! We drove 70 miles to Shelor later that day and were greeted at the door by Brandon Mitchell, He introduced himself and I told him my name and that I had spoken with Erik on the phone earlier that morning, Brandon immediatly invited us to sit in his office and he called Erik to get the details of our conversation, This really impressed my husband and I both! We liked the fact that Brandon wanted us all to be on the same page about what we were shopping for and what our expectations were! We could not have had a better salesman than Brandon! He went above and beyond to make our shopping experience perfect! He was also very patient with me when I had alot of questions about the different cars we were test-driving, He made it very clear he wanted us to find our perfect car, He wanted us to buy exactly what we WANTED, right down to the color! And he didnt even blink an eye when I settled on the very first car he showed me! Just goes to show, He knew exactly which car was made especially for me right from the very beginnig! And the best part was Brandon put us in a car much much nicer and much much newer than I ever dreamed!! And Brandon still kept us in our price range! We were looking for fuel effieciency and LOW mileage, and with Brandon and Shelor Motor Mile we definetly got it!! We will definetly be back and we will tell everyone we know to GO SEE BRANDON AT SHELOR!!! You will NOT regret it!! Best buying experience EVER!! I have bought about 10 new or used vehicles in my lifetime, and this was the best experience I have ever had. I was given a fair price on my trade in right from the start. I purchased a 2005 Chrysler PT cruiser. I am young, and Shelor took advantage of me. They financed my car for 7000 dollars and gave me a 15.9% interest rate. They sold me a warranty for 2000 dollars. A week after I got the car, it filled with smoke from a horrible oil leak they covered up while I was test driving it. When I took it to them to be be fixed, they wanted to charge me 650 dollars. After arguing with the manager they finally agreed to pay it. After that, problems came up every week, and they refused to fix it, I had to call multiple times in order to get a hold of someone. They would NOT return my calls. The warranty is not worth the paper its written on, and the car is junk and no one will even discuss the matter with me. I have had to pay over 2000 dollars on repairs, and the way they have it set up, I still owe more than what its worth. They have my loan set up to where I have to pay the interest off first then the principle, so in car lender terms, I'm "belly up" and they put me like that on purpose to manipulate me. I have filed a formal complaint with the better business bureau and I highly advise that NO ONE buy a car from shelor. They do not care one bit about you, all they want is every single penny of yours, and once you sign the contract, they will drop you like a bad habit. More
