I felt that Michael did a GREAT job and went above and beyond to ensure that I understood every aspect of purchasing a vehicle as this was my first purchase through Shelor. Friendly and to the point, not like alot of salesman that try and haggle with you for an hour or two. We were apprehensive about buying a vehicle due to previous experiences with a different dealership. We were pleasantly suprised when we met with Mike. He was very knowledgable and helpful and stuck t previous experiences with a different dealership. We were pleasantly suprised when we met with Mike. He was very knowledgable and helpful and stuck to his word that it wouldnt take more than 2 hours. We got there at 6 and left at 8:15. I have recommended to a few friends to ask for Mike when they visit the used car store at Shelor. We have enjoyed our purchase so far and when the time comes, we will come back to Shelor to purchase again. More
My overall experience with Shelor was better than expected. However, I have two complaints: First, I'm disappointed with the Internet sale tactic. The Highlander I bought was listed on the website expected. However, I have two complaints: First, I'm disappointed with the Internet sale tactic. The Highlander I bought was listed on the website for about 29,000(I can't remember exact price); however, when negotiations started, they started at the retail price of about 31,000. If I see an add for meat on sale at Kroger for 2.99lb, then that's what I expect when I go there to buy it. I don't expect it to be anyting different from the advertised price. The second complaint I have is the Highlander I bought was not filled up completely with gas when I left. I was given about a half a tank of gas. This is the fourth vehicle I've bought in my life, and the three prior to this one all have been filled to the brim with gas prior to pulling it off the lot. More
Austin was more than helpful in finding a used vehicle for me. The Chevrolet Cobalt I chose had a small issue and the staff made sure I had something great to drive until it was serviced the following Mon for me. The overall experience was not that bad!! The sales person was not the freindliest, it seemed like she was just trying to rush along to get to the next sale!! I was there 2 different days total of about 7 hours wich seemed to long !!while driving the vehicle home the check engine light came on and had a hesitation!! called kati,she gave me service number,my wife took another trip to Shelor,appointment was at 9;30 am!!!They were finally finished with the repair at 6 pm that evening!!Then the service manager told my wife the bill was going to be around $600.00!! I understand that it was a used vehicle but I had not had the vehicle in my possession for more than an hour until it acted up!!They ended up getting the bill down to $30.00 but the point is i shouldn not have had a bill period! very unsatisfied with the experiece! I made 1 phone call to plan my trip to Shelor, a 2nd phone call on my way to the dealership and then spent a total of maybe 3.5 hours from arrival to the delivery of my SRX. This is my 3rd time buying from Shelor and I have been very satisfied every time.
