Rick had just been moved from one office to another and was still in the mists of setting up. He literaly DROPPED everything to intoduce us to the vehicle we had inquired about. Rick was poised and profesional. Within 10 min. we had the keys for a testdrive. Once we were assured that this was in fact a vehicle worthy of purchasing, Rick was quick to get our trade-in evaluated. We were relieved that the evaluation did not have any "tricks" or "funny business" just straight forward and to the point. There were no long waits, no running back and forth between offers, and in my opinion, we were respected and made to feel like our business with them was important. We were off to the Finance Dept, where we were greeted my Mr. John Barton. John was confident, well mannered, and refreshing to work with. He did not "hard-sell" us on the usual Finance add-ons, and was honest in explaining the details for our contract. John had recognized that my husband was a Retired Veteran of the USAF, and his last and final words sealed our impression of the workforce at Shelor. After thanking us for our business and wishing us well, he "requested permission shake the hand of a Real American Hero," "That it was his Honor to do so." Mr. Fowlkes made a great first impression and kept it all the way through the sale. I am one that will walk away from something if I feel ignored or belittled, and I never felt that way at your dealership. T the way through the sale. The only issue I did have was that I believed they were afraid to make me wait while they detailed the inside of the car so they just did a quick cleaning. In the result of this, the inside could have been cleaner including the mess from an entire bottle of oil that had been spilled in the trunk of the car. I did not realize this until we got home with the car (I live an hour away). However, I called Mr. Fowlkes and he told me that the previous owners must have done it and that they do not clean the trunks. I have major issues with this because this implies that I could have gotten a car with a missing spare and may not known it until I needed one or you were blaming the previous owners for a mess that your mechanic could NOT have missed if he checked for the spare tire and the cleaning crew just overlooked. He took his time pulling up every vehical we wanted to look at. I chose to give Trampus a 5 in all catagories because he was very helpful. I had looked at vehicles in my hometown princton and the salesmen didnt care wether or not they sold a car or not.Mr.Stamper went a was very helpful. Mr. Stamper worked with me all morning on the telephone to see if he would be able to get me a loan being as i had no credit. After several hours of working he called me and told me to come down that he could get me in a car that day. I am very thankful for his concern and help.
