Also, the manager I spoke to, Trey, on the phone about their stock of used Jeep Wranglers was very honest when I brought up concerns and considerations I had about specific used vehicles they had based upon the information that CarFax showed about each vehicle. I arrived at the dealership at the time the manager would normally be going home. However, he came to great me and my wife as Tim was going the distance to show us their stock and to give us very honest answers to points I brought up. I am not new to 4 wheel drive vehicles and have owned several. I was very impressed by Tim Johnston's courtesy and honesty. I really had no intention to make a purchase that day, but did because Tim was willing, also to stay with us past his normal business hours. He let me drive several Wranglers they had and was very accommodating when I wanted to see several vehicles which caused him to really "work hard" for us. He showed us a year old, very low mileage, locally owned and traded Jeep Wrangler with the critical options I wanted -- skid plates, hard top and so on. The price negotiations were straightforward with no "gamesmanship". Tim spent a great deal of time showing us the dealer's resources -- where we would take the vehicle for service, the hours of operation, who to call for what and was firm in telling he would still be there for us, if we ever had any questions or concerns. The deal was completed and I drove home with a new (used) Wrangler. I would not have purchased the Jeep if it had not been for Tim Johnston since I didn't really need the vehicle at that time -- I was just looking with a firm intent to purchase in the next three months -- but the extra effort by Tim and the right vehicle made for the combination I was looking for -- a vehicle that had all the right things; a very fair and competitive price and the honesty, friendliness, courtesy and extra effort by Tim Johnston, the sales representative. It was a good day. More
