STAY AWAY Stay away form SHERMAN and stay away from CHRYSLER! I purchased a new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from Sherman in October 2013. After the fir Stay away form SHERMAN and stay away from CHRYSLER! I purchased a new 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from Sherman in October 2013. After the first three months of owning the car things took a turn for the worse. I have owned my car for less than one year and it has fewer than 8,000 miles on it and it has been in the repair show between 8-9 times. It has had the transmission "updated" several times, the radio replaced, the rear hatch replaced, there is a constant vibration noise from behind the dashboard, I have never experienced such poor quality control in a new vehicle ever. To make things worse, Sherman's service department makes each trip in for service that much worse. Each time I am in I have to fight to get a rental car despite them often having to keep my car over night. They act as if I am inconveniencing them yet I am the one missing work to bring my brand new car in for service driving an hour each way. Several times I have had to bring the car in after making an apointmenet telling them whats wrong for them to look at the problem and say, "oh we dont have the parts, you will have to bring it back", requiring another trip to their wonderful service department. When I had the car in the have the reach latch replaced, as it broke and would not close (yes I had to use clothesline wire to tie my latch down for over a week because Sherman could not fix it and then had to order parts for it twice). Then I got a phone call that my vehicle was ready to be picked up and if I didnt picked it up that day I would be charged for the rental car the next day. So I head up to Sherman that evening to pick up my car and it they try to give it back to me with the plastic inside of the rear hatch hanging loose, the flashlight in the rear hatch area and its housing pulled out with the wires exposed, and dirty paper towels thrown in my rear hatch!!! Who turns over a car that has just been serviced to a customer like this, SHERMAN DODGE does!! Despite my repeated attempts to remedy the situation with management and Chrysler Corporate I find myself stuck with the same terrible vehicle which I am sure will continue to give me problems the longer I own it. They only solutions Sherman has offered is for me to come out of pocket even more money and buy a new car, what scammers!! More

Instead I wasted my time to get there and told to come back some other time. It just show how unorganized they are of take care their business. More
Lies, and dissatisfaction Visited this dealer looking for a Jeep Wrangler and Patriot I had seen in a flyer I received with The Chicago Tribune. The sales person that assisted my husband and I showed us around and when we went inside to look at prices and options all went downhill. We wanted a hard top but the sales person kept offering us the soft top and recommending we buy the hard top as an option. Ok, no big problem. When my husband asked them if the soft top would have the same electrical options as the hard top, we were told yes. Having done our research, we knew this was not possible. It took like 20 minutes for US to convince the sales person that he was wrong about the car's options- he had to go ask a manager. Secondly, we asked about the Patriot we saw in the ad. Well the sales person said that we had asked about the Wrangle first and basically refused to give us information about the Patriot! After hearing him for like 10 minutes trying to convince my husband that he should buy the Wrangler I asked him again about the Patriot in the flyer. The model number for the Patriot in the flyer was not even in their system, it was another car! And the Jeep Patriot they did have in the lot that has the same specs as the one in the flyer was way more expensive. So I was mad and asked if their flyer is BS then, and if so, why do they keep advertising the same car at the same price, week after week. Needless to say, we walked out of there! More

xxxx NO!!! This place is ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS!!! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!!! I can't believe the xxxx they tried to pull with me... they told me I should voluntarily repossess my current vehicle back to the back because it has negative equity!! WELL DUH!! Don't most vehicles? Isn't the job of the dealership to TRY to figure out how to get you into a new car and alleviate some of the negative equity so it isn't so bad? I mean come on! OK so my credit wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst and when I say I'm not putting money down because the cars depreciate as soon as you drive them off the lot then that mean I'm not putting money down... pushing me to pay $1000 down when its really NOT necessary is not ok AND when I say I'm not comfortable with a payment above $500 then try your hardest to keep me there! And when you put me with a sales man who is more interested about not being with his customers and just telling you " They are working on it", They meaning the finance guys, and wants to be on his phone then it might be worth looking at his worth in your company!! AND then they let me take the car I was looking at home and in the morning after I had thought about all this nonsense, I went to get in the car to return it to the dealership and pick up my car, I noticed A LOT of rear end damage that I did not see the pervious night because I didn't get to test drive the car until 9:30PM!! I was at the dealership from 5PM until Midnight! what a JOKE!!! Then when I returned the car they tried putting me in something I already told them I would NEVER drive! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! More
