During the financial part of the sale. I was told three different prices. I accept the first price but to be told by the financial manager that he failed to put in my payoff. Then when I got back to his office he stated he had bad new. That they had made another mistake and my monthly payment were going to be higher. At that point I refused his offer. He came back and stated that he would cover the warranty, and move my interest rate to 8.9. For a buyer with a 817 credit score, seem a little high and I should have just walked but I didn’t. Mine you I never asked for a warranty, since the truck only had 1212 miles on it. I agreed and when I got home to review the contract I noticed that he charged me $3000 for the warranty. I went back up the next day and spoke with a sale manger and the financing manger. They proceeded to tell me that he discounted the warranty. Stating how much warranty cost. Once again I never asked for a warranty, he was the one that stated he would cover the cost of the warranty. I walked out and. Express I will never do business with Ram again. I own a trucking company and this is my third Ram I purchased since 2015 when I started my business. I try to change out every 150000 miles but I will not be buying another ram if this is how you guys do business. I’m also having a letter drifted to be sent to the CEO of Ram. More
Purchased used RAM 1500 with 300 miles and there one issue after another. From the day I bought it getting pulled over by police for the temp tag not being displayed correctly by the dealership to addi issue after another. From the day I bought it getting pulled over by police for the temp tag not being displayed correctly by the dealership to additional trips to pick up the temp tags only for it not to be available. Then truck stalls in the middle of the road on our first family road trip almost causing a major accident. RAM doesn’t offer loaner cars for factory warranty issues so now I’m out a car for several days and have to pay for a rental car to get to work. The truck stalling and rental is a RAM company issue but RAM is lacking in it customer care. More
