The man working with him knew our budget and although the truck ended up going over our budget, at least they gave us the correct monthly amount. The problem with this is my husband said multiple times he didn’t want the extended warranty. And they had all agreed to it. But looking at our papers today (because the whole amount financed seemed high) I see a fee of $5295 for a “service contract” (also known as an extended warranty). I feel absolutely terrible, I feel like we’ve been taken advantage of and can’t believe they added this in. More

Advertised prices are a scam. They don’t sell at that price. After buying a jeep there, I can’t get a title on vehicle purchased there 3 months ago. No one seems to care enough to call me - I offered to sell jeep back and take a BIG LOSS just to let them have back so they can get their own title. They offered me a ridiculous amount buy back. I’ve been emailing back and forth with manager and he is not much help at all. I walked into dealership with cash in hand assuming that it would make it better for us both. If I can ever get a title and be dime with them , I will NEVER darken their door again. I was warned by local townspeople to avoid them. Bad reputation! It’s up to them To make this right. I just want out of this situation- I can’t sell or trade the jeep I bought since there is no title. Martine Pittman More

The price quoted on the Internet jumped to an additional non-negotiable $7,000 in hidden fees by the time I ac ..and it would probably not be enough! If this is not bad enough, add to it the terrible customer service at the dealership, being passed around from one person to the next. When they were asked what the additional fees were for, there was NO answer. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a dealer. Look at the reviews before you go to any Shottenkirk lot...the reviews speak volumes. This is a common tactic with them. I am so grateful for the dealer who took my business the next day and more than compensated for the terrible experience at Shottetnkirk. More
