They wanted to charge me $1,200 to fix an issue with a check engine light. They said it needed a new charcoal filter. I went home, tightened the gas cap, and the light went out. We had an appointment, for our 10,000 mile service, at 1:00pm and were on our way home before 2:00pm. We took our Tacoma to another dealership (The one we purchased it from) for it’s 5k service, and with 1:00pm and were on our way home before 2:00pm. I found out that service after the sale is sorely lacking at this dealership. At least it is from sales rep. Cody Blackwell. Also received poor service in my first visit to the service dept. for my first complimentary maintenance provided by Toyota for the first 2 years. If this is what you get for complimentary service, I would rather pay for it. More
