The advertised price was awesome. Unfortunately it was a bait and switch. Not only did the truck have hail damage on the hood, and the power running boards were bit functioning properly, but the salesman tr bait and switch. Not only did the truck have hail damage on the hood, and the power running boards were bit functioning properly, but the salesman tried to tell me the running boards weren’t supposed to retract. Ford F-150 Platinum running boards are power retracting. I’m no idiot. I was willing to overlook it due to the great price. Then we sit down and they show the ACTUAL price including a warranty and a reconditioning price of $4500. The reconditioning hadn’t been done, obviously since the running boards weren’t fixed and there was even a scuff on a door handle from a yellow post in a parking lot. Then I was informed that they COULD NOT remove the warranty. It is against the law to force someone to buy a warranty. I guess they figured we wouldn’t walk out. I did and will never darken a Shottenkirk door again. More
