I paid a premium price exp bought my 2016 Chevy Silverado brand new with 0 miles from Sid Dillon. Looking back, this truck was completely overpriced. I paid a premium price expecting a vehicle that would last. I did my part by keeping up with regular servicing to maintain it in great condition.Unfortunately, the value just isn't there. The transmission is already failing at barely 120,000 miles, which is completely unacceptable for a truck that costs this much. After researching online, I see that many other Chevy owners are deeply unhappy with the exact same transmission issues. What makes it worse is the cost to fix it—dealership quotes to repair or fully replace these transmissions run anywhere from $9,000 to $10,000. It is incredibly frustrating to pay top dollar for a vehicle, only to face a massive repair bill despite excellent care. Chevy completely overcharged for a truck with such poor reliability. More
