Our story began in 1962 when Morris Silverleib, and his son Ira, opened their doors on South Main Street in Brockton.Over the years, Silko grew, and in 1973 added the Honda franchise to their fold. In 1994 I came to work with my father, adding the third generation to the mix. As our business continued to grow, we relocated our Honda dealership, one of the oldest in the United States, to Route 44 in Raynham in September of 2000. Although times have changed, one thing at Silko has remained the same; we sell and service cars one at a time. We are dedicated to making the Silko Experience one that you can enjoy and that we can be proud of. Good afternoon Annette I have read all of the email correspondences from yourself and our internet sales team. Our team was very upfront with the selling price of the vehicle plus any additional fees associated with registering the vehicle out of state. While I understand RI is only a 30 minute drive for you, RI still has different governing laws from MA. We offer transparency pricing on our website and through our email correspondences - our website clearly states that pricing does not reflect tax, title, registration or other dealer fees. Upon your initial email, the selling price, out of state fee, documentation fee, wheel locks, and RI sales tax/Registration fees were broken down for you. There were NO HIDDEN FEES. To further break this down for you and anyone reading this - our online pricing is valid for MA residents only, out of state registration takes more time and money to complete as we have to physically go there rather than use our in-house registry. One cannot simply just put a plate from a different vehicle on a new vehicle and drive it off our lot. Every dealership has a documentation fee and this is non-negotiable. The Honda Genuine wheel locks are an additional accessory installed on all our vehicles to protect against wheel and tire theft. Again this was all broken down for you in your initial email correspondence so we don’t understand the need for you to publicly slander our business on all review sites. You even went as far as registering with a separate car shopping website (car gurus) with the sole purpose to just to slander our name as you blatantly told our sales team you intended to do. We wish you nothing but the best in all your car shopping needs!
