Our story began in 1962 when Morris Silverleib, and his son Ira, opened their doors on South Main Street in Brockton.Over the years, Silko grew, and in 1973 added the Honda franchise to their fold. In 1994 I came to work with my father, adding the third generation to the mix. As our business continued to grow, we relocated our Honda dealership, one of the oldest in the United States, to Route 44 in Raynham in September of 2000. Although times have changed, one thing at Silko has remained the same; we sell and service cars one at a time. We are dedicated to making the Silko Experience one that you can enjoy and that we can be proud of. Kim, First of all I would like to thank you for giving us feedback regarding your experience with our team on Sunday. I apologize I was unable to respond to you sooner but I have been out with the flu. I understand you have been in direct contact with the vice president but I wanted to reach out to you on here since you felt the need to publicize your feedback on not one, but four different websites. On January 12th, Darnell reached out to you with the following email - “Great news! We have decided to accept your offer! However, it has to be on an in stock vehicle good until the close of business tomorrow! We have White in stock for the 2018 CRV Touring. Please let me know what time we can expect your visit.” We did in fact accept your offer on the 12th, for a pre-negotiated price that you asked for. I certainly apologize that we were not able to come to terms on this vehicle, but unfortunately pricing is subject to change and, as you know, the pre-negotiated price was only valid until the close of business the next day. With that said, I’d like to congratulate you on and your sister on your vehicle purchase and regret that we were unable to assist you. I also want to respond to silko's response. I received multiple email after that close of business day stating "As we are nearing the end of our month we are way behind our monthly quota. So what this means is we need to take every deal possible!! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to earn your business. This weekend we will be considering all reasonable offers!!" This is word for word from the emails I received. This is obviously not true because they backed out of the deal we originally agreed on when we went there that weekend. Do not let her response fool you. Do not get tricked by silko. Silko also took my registration and did not put it back in my car. I had to go to the dmv to get another copy.
