A total awful experience. They took my $500 deposit and then told me to come back in a week for my car. Went back a week later and there was no car to be found. It was a bait. So they tried to tell me the car I wanted will take a month to get. I told them I would wait. I brought in my ML500 for a trade. At that point they tried to give me 8000k for it. They called me the next day and told me that they do not want to sell me a car. The GM told me that people like me should not drive a Mercedes. Very racist and arrogant remark. I decided to go to the bayside Mercedes. Sat down for 30 minutes, bought a better Mercedes than I planned for less. They also gave me 14,000 for my old car. I walked in the next day and I picked up my car. Stay away from Long Island city. They are a bunch of crooks. More

AWFUL experience. I drove three hours to likely purchase a Mercedes CPO vehicle that was very aggressively priced on Autotrader. They took a deposit on the vehicle the night before (which sometimes happens a Mercedes CPO vehicle that was very aggressively priced on Autotrader. They took a deposit on the vehicle the night before (which sometimes happens), BUT when I called that morning to confirm my afternoon appointment, no mention of the vehicle being sold was made. So I drove 3 hours and took a day off of work, I was handed off to someone who could barely speak english, and they told me upon arrival it was sold. The vehicle was nowhere to be found, which makes me believe it never existed and was a bait and switch. So then they tried to sell me a more expensive vehicle off their floor and unwilling to even consider reducing the price to something more in line with the one that was advertised. based upon my experience and other's experiences with Silver Star, DO NOT consider this dealership as they appear to be scam artists. I bought a 2010 ML350. The sales person Jonathan tells me "You can bring your car in anytime and have it detailed for free" I said "WOW!" About a month goes by and I decide to get my car detailed. I ca me "You can bring your car in anytime and have it detailed for free" I said "WOW!" About a month goes by and I decide to get my car detailed. I call the service manager Michael and he tells me it doesn't work like that. That I would have to pay $229 every time I wanted it detailed. He did say since the sales person lied to me the first time would be on the house. I take the car in and Michael is on vacation. The service manager there was a total xxxxx. Rude beyond imagination and no help at all. I wait for Michael to get back from vacation. I start leaving him voice messages. I left him 3 voice messages none of which he answered. I call the dealership and try speaking to the general manager and they route me all over the place but wont let me leave him a message or speak to him. This place is awful. More

GOODEN......................otherwise you will cry like me........... Huh More

CLASSIC SLEAZEBAGS USED CAR SALESMEN! I live about 40 CLASSIC SLEAZEBAGS USED CAR SALESMEN! I live about 40 miles outside of NYC and saw an 07 Range Rover advertised for $33k on eBay.  I called and spo CLASSIC SLEAZEBAGS USED CAR SALESMEN! I told him that I was coming all the way from Jersey and that I needed to confirm that the car is still available.  He then said, yes, it was in their pre-owned dept across the street. I drove to NYC, paid over $20 in tolls and maneuvered through NYC rush hour traffic to get there.  Spoke with Chris in their pre-owned dept., told him I was there for the '07 Range Rover.  He instantly offered me the "2011" model that they have instead.  When I insisted I came for the '07, he made up some crazy excuses that the '07 is in their other lot and it was not available.  When I kept pushing, manager comes out and told me "they will drive the car to me".  I called BS and walked over the new car lot to confront Rocky.  He tells me it sold this morning. They can't even get their stories straight!   STAY AWAY FROM THESE SLEAZY USED CAR SALESMEN!!! If you want a new Mercedes Benz, there's a dealer in Manhattan that's more reputable than these liars! It's on 11th Ave by the Lincoln Tunnel. More

I have shopped for cars at many dealers before. However, I came to Silver Star motors from Connecticut taking a chance and the experience was like none I have had before. My sales representative Annamaria (Anna) Gjomarkaj is the real deal. Very professional, friendly, energetic, patient and customer driven. I came in to purchase a 2009 ML350 sight unseen. The vehicle was just traded in and there wasn't any photos of it yet. Before coming in I spoke with Annamaria on the phone and she assured me the car was spotless, beautiful and well worth the drive from CT. After meeting with her, I determined that I made the right choice. For once, I felt like I was not being lied to or taken advantage of. Anna listened to all of my concerns and demands, and was honest in her responses and tried as much as possible to ensure I was satisfied. Well, she did just that! I love my new ML350. She was also very kind to my 16 yr/old who I dragged with me. I would like to thank Annamaria for her wonderful customer service and professionalism and Silverstar for their service. She was very friendly, energetic and easy to work with, a breath of fresh air. She is very knowledgeable and is able to accurately answer all questions I had. I think every dealership needs an Anna in their showrooms. I would so recommend her to anyone interested in one these awesome vehicles.
