I took my Camry in for service because the battery light was on. The dealer spent two hours on the diagnostic and came back to tell me my car needed a new alternator, serpentine belt, water pump, steering p was on. The dealer spent two hours on the diagnostic and came back to tell me my car needed a new alternator, serpentine belt, water pump, steering pump, catalytic converter and two motor mounts and the dealer wanted $10,000 to do the work. My car was inspected by a different Toyota dealer six months prior and it was running fine. I had concerns about this estimate and diagnostic so I took my car to a small but highly respected local auto repair shop for a second opinion. The smaller shop checked my Camry and discovered it really only needed an alternator, serpentine belt and joint replaced in my exhaust pipe. Price: $1,800. I am extremely disappointed in Sloane Toyota and I cannot recommend this dealer to anyone. Buyer Beware! More
