This could well be your next experience with Sloane Toyota of Malvern. Background: I bought a 2023 Toyota Highlander last week the Friday before Labor Day. Supposedly, the vehicle had passed a 150- point inspection and was sold as "Sloane Certified". For what it is worth, this is what the inspection refers to: "Sloane Toyota offers a 150-point inspection on vehicles for sale, ensuring they meet quality standards and adhere to safety and emissions requirements. This comprehensive inspection process involves checking the vehicle's critical systems and components, such as the engine, transmission, brakes, tires, electrical systems, and EXTERIOR, to protect buyers from hidden issues and guarantee the vehicle's proper functioning". The car also is supposedly covered by Sloane's own 3,000-mile/90-day limited comprehensive warranty. On returning home, I noticed the bumper assembly was quite loose and assumed a couple of push clips were missing. On closer inspection, much of the drivers side bumper and wheel arch trim assembly is missing the necessary fasteners and bolts. In due course, the bumper might well disengage from the vehicle. In any event, I reached out to the sales consultant, who simply forwarded me the contact details of the General Sales Manager. I reached out to this person by email and phone, and also contacted the General Manager, Mike Nasrat. Neither responded. In all likelihood, the issues are a relatively easy fix for service personnel. However, instead of actually endeavoring to offer a semblance of decent after sales customer service, Sloane seems to prefer to totally ignore the matter, presumably in the hope that it just "goes away". Unprofessional and short sighted in the extreme.. More

I have bought every new car (except one) our family has bought from Sloan Toyota since my first new car in 1996. (the one exception was one that had recently ended the model year, Sloan had already sold a bought from Sloan Toyota since my first new car in 1996. (the one exception was one that had recently ended the model year, Sloan had already sold all the leftovers they had; but there was still a leftover at another dealer that was too good a deal to pass up) I always shopped around extensively, and Sloan has given me the best deals every single time. Mohammed was great to work with. He gave me a great deal, right off the bat. ... NO GAMES ... no back and forth ... no "going back to consult with the sales manager" ... no "If you buy it -today- I'll give you this price, but if you don't get it now, I can't give you this price tomorrow" (only to call the next day and drop the price some more if you didn't bite) ... no calling us several times over the next few days "just to follow up". NONE OF THAT BULL. We shopped 4 other Toyota dealers (and took a look at a few other manufacturers too) and they pretty much all played some of those games to a greater or lesser extent. But Sloan and Mohammed didn't. He quoted us a great price, and after 5 or so days of shopping around, that deal was several hundred dollars better than any of the deals at any of the other dealers. More
