Make sure you look closely at the paperwork if you purchase a vehicle here. The salesman I delt with was fine. No issues there. My problems came when I went back and signed papers with the finance man purchase a vehicle here. The salesman I delt with was fine. No issues there. My problems came when I went back and signed papers with the finance manager. He passed me a paper to sign for gap insurance. I told him I didn't want it and for sure didn't want to pay for it. His response was its just something for the bank and wasn't gonna cost me anything. Riiiiight... I was under the impression my payment was where me and the sales person talked about it being, but when I went back with the finance manager it was 50 or $60 higher. He continued to lower the payment for me telling me that he was only taking money off the car when in all reality he was just taking money off the gap and insurance. After I had time to go through the paperwork and figured out I was lied to, I went back in there and he basically denied saying what he did. Not in the mood for confrontation, I left and left it alone. I'll cancel gap insurance myself. Sucks my payment won't change, but whatever. Shady stuff, so look closely at paperwork you're signing. I trusted what he was telling me and signed away. Make sure you look at numbers as you sign. More

Pleased with Smart Honda & Salesman, Jim Allen. I’ve leased Honda’s since my retirement in 2012. In my humble opinion, they are safe, worry-free and economical. I worked with Jim Allen. When I told him what my needs were, he listened and asked questions. We talked about how much I could afford to spend and he stayed within my budget. He showed me the Accords and we found one that worked for me. I love the car; it truly fits my needs and I trust I’m sure when this lease ends, I will return to Davenport Smart Honda and ask for Jim Allen! More
