My husband and I came to Smithtown Kia on September 5, as my 14-year-old Sportage was on its last wheels. Having just come from a different Kia dealership that couldn't come close offering us something in ou my 14-year-old Sportage was on its last wheels. Having just come from a different Kia dealership that couldn't come close offering us something in our price range, we went to Smithtown - while keeping our expectations low. Mike immediately greeted us at the door and took us to sit and chat. We let him know right away what we were looking for, what we could afford and that we didn't want to waste his time if we could see up front that our needs couldn't be met. He was on board with how we wanted to proceed and our straightforward approach seemed to mesh with his. Right away we got down to inventory and numbers, and before we knew it he was able to find exactly what we wanted. There were no back-and-forth negotiations with the finance department, and no salesperson games. It was a refreshing experience to say the least. Within two hours we finalized all paperwork with the finance representative (also a very nice gentleman) and drove off in my 2020 Sportage. I would recommend Smithtown Kia, and Mike in particular, to anyone looking for a fair, straightforward and professional car-buying experience. More
