Smithtown Kia

I am very much regretting making a switch from my previous Kia dealer over to Smithtown Kia. They have the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my many years of car buying. Basically once previous Kia dealer over to Smithtown Kia. They have the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my many years of car buying. Basically once you purchase a vehicle, they could care less about you. I have a very serious problem where now 6 weeks later, they never terminated my prior lease and never had it inspected. Kia finance tells me I'm still responsible for a car I don't even have in my possession for over a month and a half and are even still taking payments for it. When I called the dealer to try and get this resolved, I have been ignored and treated like garbage. I've called 3 times trying to get a manager and they keep telling me nobody is available to help, and I never get a call back. Not to mention the receptionist that answers the phone is rude and does nothing to help you find a person to talk to. STAY AWAY from this dealer if you don't want to be treated like crap. Once they have your money, you are just an afterthought. I'll be sure to make sure this is the last time I or multiple other members of my family who have cars through this dealer, NEVER return for another purchase. More

Alysa was fantastic - honest, resourceful and efficient! It was only by luck we ended up with Alysa. We were originally scheduled with a pushy salesperson I wasn't looking forward to meeting, and another who It was only by luck we ended up with Alysa. We were originally scheduled with a pushy salesperson I wasn't looking forward to meeting, and another who told us not to come in until we proclaimed we would lease another car. We walked into the dealership and Alysa asked to help us but I explained we had an appointment with someone else. After waiting a while, I asked Alysa if she could still help us and she was happy to. Long story short, she was straight forward when negotiating and honest about the process. She was pleasant to deal with and tried to finalize everything as quickly as possible. The haste was especially appreciated as we had our 17-month old with us, and so time was pressed. This was our fourth time leasing a car, so I've dealt with good and bad - Alysa was great! Alysa even went above and beyond as I accidentally forgot to give her our second key. Instead of making us come back to the dealership she sent us a pre-paid envelope with our key, and a CD I accidentally left in the car we were turning in. I'm beyond thankful. Thank you, Alysa! The only reason I knocked a star off the review for the dealership is because I feel like their process could be a little more efficient (although it was a busy Saturday), and I wasn't fond of the other two salespeople I spoke with on the phone (although I didn't actually meet with them). This is my third Kia lease, my first with Smithtown. I will definitely be returning to them in three years when I need to do my lease return. We walked out with exactly what we wanted and some..... There was no comparison between the dealer we used previously and Smithtown - far exceeded my expectations, where the old dealer truly disappointed. From the moment we first walked into the showroom we never felt pressured. We were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist (sorry I forgot her name) and then saw the Sales Manager Charlie who was also very pleasant and set us up with Gerard. Everything was explained to us from the operation and features of the vehicle to the lease information, servicing of the vehicle, etc. Gerard - you will be getting my recommendation to everyone I know. He did so with care and focus to cover all of our concerns. We never leased in our lives; now in our senior year, it was a total surprise that we found leasing better for our budget needs and chose the 2018 Sorrento that gave us updated features to increase our safety and comfort. Charlie in the numbers adjusting segment of our purchase and Rosa were all so friendly and accommodating.
