Turming in a lease early We had seen Danny on a previous visit, but didn't see him and Dustin helped us. He was knowledgeable, and gave us numbers that made sense. We came in to see if a Murano was feasible financially. We had no intention of doing a new lease at that time. Our lease wasn't coming due until March 18, 20215, but we are snowbirds and would be out of the country between Dec 1 and March 24, after the lease was up. We knew we could extend the lease if necessary. Then we saw Danny and sat down with him. He encouraged us to really consider the 2014 Murano as the 2015 wouldn't be out until mid Dec. or so, and we would be away. But more important, the price of a 2015 would be much higher, possibly $4000. He told us that Nissan would pay off the 4 remaining months and they would be able to do a great deal. He went with me on the test drive and pointed out all the great features of the Murano SL. When I had trouble adjusting the seat to my comfort, he got out and did it for me. He worked out the details and said we could go out with the new car...it had to be prepped. So we left for a hour and so, and the car was indeed ready. He connected the blue tooth to accomodate my cell and my "husband's" cell. Showed us the navigation and even entered the address we were going to that evening. He paid attention to detail, was low keyed. I never felt pressured as I was before in other Nissan dealerships. Also, not have blaring music in the background made for a more pleasant experience.The was my first time at Smithtown Nissan. He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. Alli took us through the financial and lease papers and was very efficient. We had a question regarding the downpayment and she, the mamager and Danny made sure we understood why it was higher than I expected. More
Such a pleasant experience, Salesmen were SO great Mike was so helpful from Day 1. My fiancé and I had a terrible experience at another Nissan dealer where they tried to take advantage of us. After tha Mike was so helpful from Day 1. My fiancé and I had a terrible experience at another Nissan dealer where they tried to take advantage of us. After that, we were reluctant to keep looking around for the car we decided on. I spoke to Mike on the phone and he was upfront and honest with me about what kind of "deal" I would receive. I was hesitant to trust another sales person after weeks of rule salesmen and empty promises. We drove the hour over to Smithtown Nissan & our experience was nothing short of pleasant. We kept wondering, when are they going to pull the rug out from under us? But they never did. What's the catch? But there wash' one. Mike was sitting with another customer when we got there and he made sure that we weren't waiting. He and another employee, Mo, worked together cohesively to get us out of there and not have to make us wait too long. He even had the car that we talked about ready for us in the garage, so we would not have to wait. We were shocked and still waiting for the "gotcha" moment, because it seemed too easy. But there never was one. All of them were true to their word and they were honest, kind, and we didn't once feel like we were taken advantage of. When it was time to sit with the finance guy, Will, the lease agreement said something very slightly different than we discussed. When we brought it up, he quickly took it upstairs to management and took care of it. No fights, no arguments, he made sure we were happy and comfortable. After weeks of terrible experiences with car dealerships and salesmen, we walked out so happy. They had us in and out in an hour and a half, which is unheard of! We appreciated that everyone worked together to make our experience an actual good one. Thank you to Mike, Mo, and Will for your help and straightforward, kind, attitudes. You all made a stressful transition of getting a new car an easy one. We love our new Nissan Sentra SR. We will definitely recommend Smithtown Nissan to friends and family. More
