My wife and I were in need of a new car after an untimely issue popped up with our '99 Olds Alero. I went to Snell Motors just to see if they had a vehicle that was the size and shape we were looking for, i issue popped up with our '99 Olds Alero. After meeting with Jeff Wondra I had a good idea that we would be looking at a GMC Terrain. The tough part would be to get my wife in to test drive a "4-cylinder" which she had her hesitations about. Not only did she love the car from the first time she drove it, but Jeff worked it out to give us a great trade in value on our Alero to make the vehicle fit into our budget. I am writing you to thank you for the great experience that I have had purchasing my 2005 GMC Serra from Tom Buskey. When I arrived at you dealer ship I was not looking forward to purchasing a new vehicle that I have had purchasing my 2005 GMC Serra from Tom Buskey. When I arrived at you dealer ship I was not looking forward to purchasing a new vehicle because of the last two dealer ships that I had experience with. I was at Mankato Ford before I arrived at your dealership and was not impressed with the sales person that helped me. She was very pushy and wanted to make the sale more than anything and did not care if I was not comfortable with it. Needless to say I left the dealership and was not impressed with the quality of vehicle in the lot and the sales person. When I arrived in the Snell lot, I was amazed at the quality of used vehicle that you had on your lot at a great price. A short time after my wife and I were looking at the vehicle Tom Buskey came to assist me. He opened a vehicle and had great information on the vehicle and was great on the approximate price of the payment a month. Ultimately I found the great deal you had on the 2005 GMC Serra. The truck had everything that I wanted in a truck. It was nice to be able to take the vehicle for a test drive without the sales person in the vehicle. It gave me and my wife a chance to discuss the purchase and weather the vehicle was a good fit for us. Upon our arrival back at the dealership, Tom again was able to give me great information on the truck and approximate payment, which fit in my price range. I also appreciate that Snell Motors gave me a great price on my trade in (I did not feel that I was ripped off). The total experience with Snell Motors and Tom was GREAT. From my past vehicle purchases, once the deal was done and you drove off the lot the dealership was done with you. I found this to be very different with Snell Motors, Tom Busky and Asst. Service Manager Eric Hazelton. A short time after I purchased the truck, I noticed the transmission coolant lines were leaking, which was covered under the limited warranty. However when the temp actuator was malfunctioning, I was told that Snell Motors would cover the labor but the price of the part was going to be my cost. Eric was at least willing to work with me on the price of the part due to me only purchasing the truck 2 ½ or so weeks earlier and only putting about 500 miles on it.  When Tom saw me, he actually remembered me and asked how everything was going. When he found out about the problem, he met with his boss and then met with me and told me not to worry about it. He told me that Snell Motors will take care of it. This is the part that made me a Snell Motors Customer for life. Your Staff made me feel like they cared about what they sell and will stand behind it. It also made me feel that I didn’t have to spend $60,000.00 to feel important to you. I will be telling all my friends and family to come see you on any vehicle needs.   I just wanted to write you and say thank you for the great service that I had and say it is nice to see that a company like Snell Motors still cares for their customers after the sale.
