Richard was a delight to work with, didn't pressure me on the extra's, and I drove away with my new girl, Black Betty. She is absolute luxury, and I feel very safe after being rear ended on Christmas day. the extra's, and I drove away with my new girl, Black Betty. A lucky Ford Service Department mechanic recently discovered a "well-developed rodent nest" under the hood of my 2017 Escape. The engine light had activated, and my car shook hard with chuka-chuka-ch discovered a "well-developed rodent nest" under the hood of my 2017 Escape. The engine light had activated, and my car shook hard with chuka-chuka-chuka noises. Turned it off. Called Ford. Found a tow. Was on my way. The excellent communication, friendly, professional staff - especially the service agent - Heath Hill, I believe, made the $1000+ damage the little buggers did less painful. From the point of having my car towed down the hill from Groveland, to the young man sent to shuttle me down the hill two days later for pickup, the experience was positive. But then it always has been, each time I've had to engage with the service department. Like most women, I HATE car troubles. I once had a plaque above my desk that read "If it has tires or testicles, it's going to give you trouble." I can happily proclaim the second half of that statement in this instance was not true. The staff is "women-friendly" and not at all condescending or intimidating. I give my car regular maintenance, and have never had an issue with it. All of this is why I give SFSD a five-star rating time and time again. What could make it better? Oh, how I wish SFSD would bring back the complimentary car wash. (:>) More
