FRAUD I am currently considering suing Sons Honda because they fraudulently ran a credit report without my authorization. While filling out my paperwork I was told by the sales rep that I have to provide my social security number. I told her that I do not want a credit check and she assured me it would not happen. It was done anyway and has consequently affected my credit negatively. The finance officer Derek apologized and said he would see if it can be removed but this was weeks ago. I have disputed with equifax and depending on if they can have it removed I will go forward with a lawsuit for fraud. More

Messed up my engine I went to Sons of Honda dealership to get my oil changed. 2 weeks after getting my oil changed, I hear a sound coming from my engine. I checked my oil I went to Sons of Honda dealership to get my oil changed. 2 weeks after getting my oil changed, I hear a sound coming from my engine. I checked my oil dip stick and it was literally no oil reading. When I took it back to the dealership, they just filled it up with oil and told me the engine is my problem and they had nothing to do with it, the only thing they could do was give an engine for 4000.00. Do not get your oil changed from them, if you do, always check your oil dip stick after they do an oil change. More

THE CAR CONTINUED TO OVERHEAT AND WE TOOK IT BACK TO THEM IN 11/17 TO BE TOLD THAT THE CAR NEEDED A NEW RADIATOR FAN THE REPAIR WAS MADE. PAUL TOLBERT THE ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER ALSO TOLD ME THAT THE CAR HAD GASKET DAMAGE AND I SHOULD CONSIDER GETTING RID OF THE CAR. WHICH I FOUND TO BE INTERESTING SINCE WE JUST BROUGHT THE CAR FROM THEM. ONCE PAUL TOLBERT REALIZED WHAT HE SAID TO ME HE CHANGED HIS STORY. WHEN I PICKED UP THE CAR I ASKED PAUL TOLBERT AGAIN WERE THE GASKETS GOOD HE SAID “YES YOU ARE FINE NO PROBLEM.” SO MOVE FORWARD TWO WEEKS LATER WE TAKE THE CAR TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC BECAUSE OF OVERHEATING AND YES YOU GUESSED IT GASKET DAMAGE AND IT IS NOT A NEW PROBLEM. BASICALLY THEY SOLD US A CAR THAT THEY KNOWINGLY KNEW HAD ENGINE PROBLEMS. YES WE KNOW THE CAR IS “AS IS” BUT A GASKET IS A MAJOR ISSUE. WE TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THEM AND AFTER GOING BACK AND FORTH AND IGNORED PHONE CALLS. SOMEONE NAMED JIM/JOE FINALLY TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL ONLY FIX WHAT IS HAPPENING AT THE TIME IT IS BROUGHT IN. IN HIS 40 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE GASKETS CAN OUT AT ANY TIME. WHICH PROVES THEY WILL KEEP MILKING MONEY FROM YOU UNTIL THEY GET TO THE HIGH DOLLAR REPAIR. THEY WILL NOT FIX THE PROBLEM ONLY THE SYMPTOMS WHICH LEADS TO MORE MONEY IN THEIR POCKETS. AFTER DAYS OF KEEPING MY CAR AND NO RESOLUTION PAUL TOLBERT BASICALLY ME YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK AND IT WILL COST $1500 AT A MINIMUM HERE ARE YOUR CAR KEYS TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. THERE ARE MORE DETAILS THAT I CAN SHARE BUT I WILL SPARE YALL. THEY ARE LOOSING A CUSTOMER OF ALMOST TEN YEARS AND HOPEFULLY OTHERS WILL FOLLOW SUIT. More

First Service for 2015 Acura TLX (Sons Acura, Morrow GA) I was disappointed in the way the price of my service was handled. Came in for a B1, felt that I got closer to a B2. Manager said I asked for a tire r I was disappointed in the way the price of my service was handled. Came in for a B1, felt that I got closer to a B2. Manager said I asked for a tire rotation and balance. Don't remember asking for that at all. The car panel said I needed a B1. I felt that's what I should've gotten. The initial cost stated to me was $144.00. With the balance and tire rotation I ended up paying $174.00. I felt that was way over the cost of the average B1. I'm glad the dealership closed because I would not go back again. I've purchased two Acuras and leased two Acuras from Sons Acura. More
