Ryan Clary My wife and I made a huge mistake visiting the used South Austin Nissan car lot to look at a 2018 Toyota Tacoma. I took the time to get pre approved online . The truck was advertised as 42,900 online . As we were negotiating I was told there was another $3799.00 added for a “protection plan” . I declined to buy the vehicle and left. Not even a block down the road I received a call from the manager telling me “I don’t mean to talk down to you but do you even know what kind of suspension the truck has?” At wich point I told him if you have to start a conversation with” I don’t mean to talk down to you” your already in the wrong. Basically they tried to justify false advertising the truck at 42,900 to lure customers in so they can tag on $3800 more for a bs protection plan and “upgraded suspension. I told them I was headed to Leander toyota to buy another Tacoma yes pro and was told by the manager at south Austin nissan that Leander toyota would be more expensive. Not only were they wrong but I got the trd pro Taco I wanted with 7 year roadside assistance and a 7 year powertain protection for no added value as it was a certified pre owned vehicle . Long story short….these people do shady business practices and I will never use them but most importantly I will never recommend them to anyone I know including my worst enemies. Terrible place to consider buying a car from.

I’ve left so many voicemails and messages for Management over the last two months, y’all aren’t looking to help or make anything better. Everyone passes the buck, no one takes ownership of the issues, and since the beginning of this all, I’ve only gotten the run around. How can you be better? Top down leadership and customer service training, get rid of so many bad apples that are just there for a paycheck, bring in a consultant to assist with a re org and best of luck fixing the reputation that has been destroyed over the last couple of years.

We gave you ample opportunities to make this right during the process and you told us to go to Nissan corporate to try to get this resolved. Now that we are publicly telling the story you want to pretend that you are willing to make this right again. We want reimbursed for the difference between the original vehicle and the new vehicle, including the 2 payments on the original vehicle, plus reimbursement for the excessive amount of time caused by your dealer incompetence.

Dayna, You were annoyed I returned your phone call (that corporate told you to make) and offered 0 solutions. You were cold and rude. I wouldn’t ever consider a car from this dealership.
