Pre Purchase Inspection I spoke to Jeff in Service and explained him that I am purchasing a car and need pre-purchase inspection on Toyota Avalon. He scheduled my appointment I spoke to Jeff in Service and explained him that I am purchasing a car and need pre-purchase inspection on Toyota Avalon. He scheduled my appointment and John Vien coordinated the inspection of the car, he worked with me on the phone and called me in the evening to give me a run down on the car inspection. The inspection report came via fax and the dealer, I was purchasing the car was notified to pick up the car. It all done over the phone including the payment since I live in Northridge, 60 miles from the dealership. I have purchased the car. Thank you Jeff and John of your cautious customer service. More

Extortion of service I brought My Toyota Sequoia to south coast Toyota to fix the drivers door opener cable that was broken and I had Already taken the door panel off and I brought My Toyota Sequoia to south coast Toyota to fix the drivers door opener cable that was broken and I had Already taken the door panel off and the insides of the door to get to the cable but I didnt Finish it because I was Going on vacation. I brought my sequoia to south coast to have them replace the cable and I already contacted them and knew the cable was $39 and it would cost about $150 to fix so I jad Them do it. I received A call from the service manager that the cost would be $750 because they had to replace all the inner workings of the door, which was not true because I already knew the cost of the service and cable from another Toyota dealership. After telling the manager this story he said he’d get back to me and when he did he told me his mechanic, a Toyota mechanic, did not look at the second page of the service manual. I immediately went down there to vent my frustrations and asked if I didnt tell him what I akready knew about the cost would he have charged me $750 and replaced everything and he said yes. Don’t ever bring your touts to South Coast Toyota they will rip you off and I onow They have already done so to customers More
