Excellent Service We bought our 1996 Lexus SC 400 from this distributorship and have serviced it there ever since. We obviously love this classic design. It has 257,0 We bought our 1996 Lexus SC 400 from this distributorship and have serviced it there ever since. We obviously love this classic design. It has 257,000 miles on it and still looks great. Knowing how we want to keep it running, our Service Consultant of many years, Ronnie Crowe (and the best one currently at the distributor in my opinion), suggested we consider some preventive maintenance. He consulted with Dan Martinez, service technician, thoroughly inspected the engine, transmission, drive train, etc. and put dye through the oil system. Ronnie worked up a game plan with costs included, we reviewed it and let Dan do his thing replacing gaskets, wiring, tubes, etc. 4 days later I got the car back and it runs like it did in '96. Maybe another 20 years???? That's exactly what good people in a good distributorship should do and these guys did it. Thanks to Ronnie and Dan, I'm a very happy man. More

I'm used to only owning BMW's and, even bought I spent a pretty penny on the cars, I only received mediocre customer care. I dreaded going in for maintenance or having to do anything at the dealership. After a few life changing events I sold my old cars and bought a Lexus from South County Lexus. Base model, inexpensive, and used. I expected service to match the low price price point of my vehicle. I was completely wrong. The entire customer experince created by SC Lexus has been top knotch. Jessica said there would be no charge because of past issues with this dealer. When I arrived today, it was a different story: I have been to this dealer FIVE times for service. EVERY time has been a disaster. Today, I arrived for my scheduled appointment at 11:10 am --yes, I was ten minutes late. They said I did not have an appt. and couldn't help. I gave the name of the person I was told to contact and spoke with him (Mr. McCann) and he had no clue about my appt. Finally, Drew the asst. service manager, appeared. He could not have been more rude, claiming they are NUMBER ONE in the nation, etc., etc., and this only happens with me. Yes, last time I made an appt. there, I was told to contact Drew, who at that visit said they did not have a loner car for me as promised when I made the appointment and they could not accommodate my service appt. He sent me away, again saying but "we're NUMBER ONE in the nation." I could go back to the previous three visits when I went in to have things repaired/serviced and the car was returned without the work being done...but I think you get the idea. I will not go back to this dealer and advise others to consider my CONSISTENT service lapses. Moreover, customer service does not exist. I'm told Newport Beach Lexus is great. I will go there next and that is also where I will consider my next purchase. More
