They suggested or performed unnecessary service This is the second Lexus I have had serviced by this dealership since 2001. I have had two Lexus vehicles and always had the serviced here until last This is the second Lexus I have had serviced by this dealership since 2001. I have had two Lexus vehicles and always had the serviced here until last fall. The last two times I had my Lexus ES330 in for service, it has not been good. The first time was in August 2016. They did an engine clean procedure for $54.95 and AC power foam treatment for $139.94 without telling me about them in advance and they were not necessary. We had reviewed everything they were going to do and the cost, except for those items. The consultant was Eric P.. When I called him on it after it was already done, there was little that could be done but he did give me a $200 credit to be used on the next service. The next service was Dec. 2016. Vince C. was the service consultant. I rarely have gotten the same service consultant twice. He told me my battery needed to be replaced and that there was a coolant leak, although the fluid level was fine, that would cost $2,400 to fix. I didn't let them do either of these. The battery was only two years old. The shop that put it in then tested it after this and determined it was fine. I also had another shop look for a coolant leak and they couldn't find one. It has been almost five months and there is still no coolant leak and the battery is still fine. I will not have my car serviced at this dealership again because I feel like I was taken advantage of, not once, but twice. More
