Dealership experience as smooth as their cars ride From start to finish - this was a great car buying experience. I was shopping for a luxury compact SUV, and had visited a local Land Rover showroom b From start to finish - this was a great car buying experience. I was shopping for a luxury compact SUV, and had visited a local Land Rover showroom because I've always liked the style of the Evoque - even submitted an online financing application for one of their cars, and NEVER heard back. I called them and they said it takes them a while to get to looking at these applications. At the showroom I couldn't find anyone that could get me in a car to drive, so I left and went to Lexus. There it was a whole different world. I was specifically interested in the NX and had a friendly exchange with one of the internet sales people online, and when I went in he was eager to help me. We took a ride and found the car fabulous - can't say enough about the ride and the amenities. When I knew I wanted that car I did an online application, which was instantly reviewed and I got a monthly payment amount back from the sales rep in less than an hour - AND, when I bought the car and worked with the finance guy, the numbers can out the same - no sudden last minute change like you find some places. Everything was as expected. When I went to buy the car, it was awaiting it the atrium, an honored place in their showroom, looking quite glorious - honoring the car and me, it seemed. It was a LCertified car, virtually pristine, but there were a couple of blemishes which the took care of immediately and with understanding. I have driven the car for a day now and it is the best car I have ever owned in many respects, and I am confident that it will last me for many years. As far as the dealership is concerned, anyone can say that you have joined some "family" - but it actually feels like it here. More
