I wanted to trade in my old tucson for a new one, but I wasn’t sure if it was possible. So, I called South Point Hyundai and they said that people do trade in all the time. Shawn Hamze called me a few minu wasn’t sure if it was possible. So, I called South Point Hyundai and they said that people do trade in all the time. Shawn Hamze called me a few minutes later and he became my contact. At first, I just wanted to see some numbers, but he was so great and understanding of what I needed it and could pay for that I decided to get a new car. I didn’t feel any pressure and he provided a great customer service. I highly recommend this dealership and Shawn Hamze. More
Extremely disappointed of how my case and vehicle were handled at this dealership. The following list depicts my negative experiences dropping off and receiving my Hyundai Kona 2022 Limited after 2 we handled at this dealership. The following list depicts my negative experiences dropping off and receiving my Hyundai Kona 2022 Limited after 2 weeks of service at South Point Hyundai in Austin, Texas: - I followed case closely with Progressive Agents which agreed that the way in which this case was handled was disorganized and unprofessional. - There were no updates given to me within these 2 weeks without me needing to call and request for them. - We were told it would take between 5-7 days for the diagnosis, repairs and maintenance to be completed. After 2 weeks no fix was issued for the problems, we were having; and we had to call to check if we could pick up the vehicle. - Car went missing for several days at unknown locations with no notice or consent from us. Progressive Agents went to dealership on May 19th, only to be told that "no one knows where the car is located and no one can reach the agent." We were under severe stress and anxiety thinking our car had been stolen. - No rentals were offered to us. The only options were to be placed on a wait list or book and pay 50$ per day rentals from hertz out of our pocket. Lyft was our main form of transportation during this time which was expensive. - We are very disappointed with the state in which the car was received: a) The car had 400+ extra miles since drop off. b) The gas fuel was lower than when we left it off. c) We found junk inside the car (food packaging, eye drops). d) Dirtier exterior than when we dropped it off. - We have no assurance that the vehicle is safe to drive, we must drive knowing the same incident that happened originally could happen at any time and cause serious disturbances on the road, accidents, injuries or even death, not only to the occupants of my car but to others as well. - I requested to talk to management on several occasions about the case, but was never able to reach them, I strongly believe they should also be informed about this experience. All of the above points have been documented through photographs, receipts, phone logs, messages and screenshots. It is unfortunate this was our first experience of service with our 7-month old Hyundai vehicle This entire ordeal has been unacceptable. More
