There was no sig On 7/21/18, I visited South Pointe to follow up on an exchange I'd had with an internet staffer there about selling my Prius to them. There was no signage directing me to the "used" department, so I parked and went into the "new" department building. There's no reception/information desk in there, so I stood there for about 10 minutes. I made eye contact with several sales people, but none offered to help me. Finally, one did, and I explained who I was there to see (Bralynn Collins). He didn't know her and went to ask someone else. Someone else walked me back to the used car area and introduced me to a salesman — Toby? Troy? Something like that. He found my correspondence with Bralynn, took my keys and went to get my car. He then said he would get me a bid for my car. A few minutes later, he came out of his office and shoved a sheet of paper at me. The offer was considerably lower than the previous email. I pointed this out, and he growled, "You listed it as a Five. It's not a Five." I had been told it was and I thought, three years earlier, I had bought a Five. "It doesn't have a sunroof or navigation." It does have navigation; he just couldn't find it. He stomped off before I could even try to have a conversation with him. It's a pretty dealership; a shame the soul of the place is so ugly. More

Oil change and engine repair I took my Honda in for scheduled oil and filter change. While there the engine noise I asked about was diagnosed and repaired under factory warranty. I took my Honda in for scheduled oil and filter change. While there the engine noise I asked about was diagnosed and repaired under factory warranty. My service representative, Erik, was very helpful in both explaining and expediting the repair. I have always had a good experience there when servicing my car whoever the service representative happened to be. More

I called the dealership and John answered as Will was on leave. He said to bring the car to Tulsa and they would fix it and give me a loaner car. I did a lot of research on the problem in the meantime. Soon they called and said it was ready. They ran electrical tests and checks. I was very confused, because I spent a lot of time, money, and time off work for them to say they didn’t actually fix anything. John said he would talk to the mechanic. The next day Will returned and asked why I hadn’t picked it up. I explained I was waiting on John. Then Ryan called me. He is a manager, and maybe one of the worst people I have ever met. He began patronizing me, saying “in his heart of hearts” he knew it was fixed. Not interested in his feelings I asked what the mechanic thought, and shared the online information filled with possible fixes. He became defensive while I tried to reason with his intellect, but I couldn’t get past his pride. He then asked why I had kept his loaner car so long, and started to insinuate I was keeping it. He soon let on he had an interested buyer, which is why he needed it back. Then he said maybe I was one of those women “who go on Web MD and think they have something terrible when its something minor.” After being insulted, patronized, bullied and showered with sexism the likes of which I have never seen from educated men, he told me to bring back the rental THAT EVENING, giving me only a few hours to get off work and rush to Tulsa. When I arrived, no one would look me in the eye. Will was kind as usual. A few days later, the car wouldn’t start. The air bags turn themselves on and off while driving. The stereo switches from the left to the right of the vehicle going over bumps. Will said he would check with Ryan, and none of them have called me back. I called Chris Cox, the general manager last week and this week kindly asking for a return call, nothing more. Both calls have been ignored. They have a lovely façade, but they are worse than the overt snake-in-the-grass dealers, because at least they have the decency to look you in the eye while they screw you over. I told Ryan I would write him an honest review if his “heart of hearts” was wrong. So here it is. If you enjoy vehicles that start, or men who value and respect women, if you’re a man who respects women, I wouldn’t shop here. More
