Headlight Fix; free of charge! I bought my car 6 months ago from the time I took it in to get the headlights looked at. My car was under a Kia warranty; however, due to the previous I bought my car 6 months ago from the time I took it in to get the headlights looked at. My car was under a Kia warranty; however, due to the previous owner placing aftermarket lightbulbs in the car, the warranty was invalid. I had found this out at a Kia dealership and took it over to South Pointe. They scheduled a repair for the lights, not only did they fix the issue, they restored the original lights back to the car, and did it all FOR FREE. It was going to be a pretty pricey repair, too! I was so overwhelmed with gratitude not only for the quality customer care, but for the team going above and beyond what they said they would do. I had to wait for a couple hours, but the team members were so welcoming there. They kept checking on me, informing me of how much longer it would be. I would reccomend this place to anyone. Prompt service, willing to work with their customers to have complete satisfaction! Thank you SPH! More

Now for a few days I did a lot of research and decided that I was wanting a bigger car, more like a crossover because I have 2 toddlers and we were in a very small compact car. I did some research on the Honda HRV crossover and decided this might be the best option to go for. I loved my cruize but my boys didn't really have room for their feet and well it felt pretty crowded. But i still wanted something that would stay pretty decent on gas. So on Monday I decided to go ahead and take a look, I lucked out and was greeted by Josh, and my 3 yr old was with me. My son, LOVES everything about cars, whether it's a hot wheel or an actual car he loves them all! Josh grabbed the keys for two cars, one an HRV EX and the other, and HRV LX looking at the features of both I preferred the EX model. My son can be a handful but Josh seemed very comfortable to answer any of my question while entertaining my son about the car too. Josh showed him the trunk area and how to fold the seats, let him sit up front and pretend drive, my son LOVED it! Well I told Josh that I've been to dealerships I know how they work and that straight away, I will not be buying a car today, maybe not even tomorrow, but I will stay in touch and ask questions to be aware, he told me to call him whenever it wouldnt be a problem at all. So I got a good look and my son had some fun and I told him I would talk to my husband and get back with him. Well my husband got home from work early enough that we went back that evening. Unfortunately Josh was not there but my husband got to test drive the one I was considering and we headed back home. So the next day I decided I'd take it for a test drive, I showed up and we met up with Josh again, I told him I want to test drive to at least get a feel for it Myself, and to get an idea on my trade ins appraisal. Before we left for the drive, Josh got my 3 yr old a bug juice, his favorite and we went for a nice cruise in the HRV. Came back with an appraisal and some numbers to look at. I said I'd go home and talk to my husband, and would come back the next day for a credit check if we decide it's what we want to do. I told my husband what I thought and that I liked it, it had the room that we needed and other then the power of the HRV it seemed like we would enjoy it. So Wednesday (today) I wanted to be sure to deal only with Josh and set it up to meet with him this afternoon, but that I would also have to bring my older son. He is autistic so sometimes has issues and can get uncomfortable easily. Josh told me he couldnt wait to meet my oldest who is 4, and that he had a special suprise for when they get here. When i showed up, he gave the boys the suprise, it was molding sand (as a parent im like oh no!!! But they loved it and didnt even make a mess).We did the credit check and talked some numbers for a bit and Steve his manager had the bad news that my negative equity in my current car was going to make it hard to get it at the payments I want. I said ok. But Steve said that he really thinks I should check out the accord sport. It has about the same spacing as the HRV just shorter in height. I was pretty bummed about the situation for the HRV but decided to take a look at the accord because I got my cruise instead of the accord in the first place because I wasn't sure we'd be able to get it for what we wanted. So I looked it over, and talked to my husband over the phone about it. I told them as far as pricing goes what I was wanting and that if we could get close to that, that I will go ahead and take if for a test drive. Josh came back with some figures, not what i wanted but getting close so we went ahead and took it for a drive. The boys had a lot more leg room, and I think it might be a tad more than in the HRV. All the features it had seemed pretty nice as well, a few differences from the HRV but nothing that would make too much a difference in my opinion. The drive was nice and very smooth, but it was the color red. I hate red cars haha, want nothing to do with them. I found on their website after the test drive that they had a manual and in white, which was pretty much what I wanted. And we noticed that there was a lower price on the manual as well. So I told Josh that if he could adjust some numbers and get the price to where I wanted we might have a deal. But that I won't do anything till my husband test drives it and I test drive it later on when he gets off work, he said ok and got me the numbers I asked for. I told him I'd go home, really think about if this is the car I want and make my kids some dinner and that we'd be back to test drive. He said ok and then surprised my boys with a bug juice before we left. They were really ecstatic! My oldest kept calling him Don, and he'd just laugh it off and the boys just loved everything about him because he'd include them in our conversations. I went home and waited for my husband to come home. We went back and Josh let my husband test drive it alone, which was great because he got to check everything out get a true feel for the cars power, and play with the different features it had, next up my turn while the husband watched the kids. Josh and I attempted with the automatic earlier to get a full feel of it and check everything out but my kids were chatter boxes haha so I just wanted to enjoy the cruise. This time when I got to try it out solo, I got to check out the radio, get a good feel of the seats, the set up of the car and even had a little fun seeing how it handled and the power as well. I loved it. We decided that this was definitely the better choice, and we got the numbers we wanted and are now the happy owners of a pearl white 2016 Honda Accord sport. Everyone there were amazing towards my kids, and we're ok with them being... kids. They didn't force us to buy right away, we got to do it at our pace and really decide. Everything about this experience was great. And once we got our keys, Josh gave the boys the sand to take home, yea they were pretty happy about that too. The boys even love the car. I am pretty sure that I will have this car for a very long time. I can't say thank you enough to Josh for genuinely being thoughtful and kind to my kids, asking and understanding what autism is and seeing how smart my oldest was. He was very kind and made this my absolute best car buying experience. More

Excellent in both Sales and Service I first visited this dealership on a whim with a friend who had just rec'd the ins. reimbursement check for her stolen Honda. Because of the exceptionally good customer service and honesty displayed by Eli in the sales dept., my friend bought a car that very day, and I sold my Honda to the dealership the following week! A year later, after unsuccessfully attempting literally 10 times or so to schedule a recall fix with a service dept. employee at my usual midtown Honda dealership, I decided to call South Pointe. (In all fairness, the switchboard operator did her best to connect me, but my transferred calls were not answered--at all--and a message I left was never returned.) When I arrived for my (easily scheduled) appt. yesterday at South Pointe, right away I was uncharacteristically impressed after talking with my service consultant, Erik Eldorado. It was clear to me that South Pointe's service dept. had it all going on: It's a very well run, orderly, efficient (and clean) operation. (In fact, I found out the trading symbol for the parent company (it's GPI) because I thought I might want to invest in it.) Finally, I talked with South Pointe's excellent service mgr. Randy Strawn, who made sure I was happy with my service experience. He made it clear that South Pointe would value me as a repeat customer. I definitely will be! More
