Friendly and helpful service Josh McNeil worked hard to get me setup and ready. Ricky DeMoss got me a lower rate than I had expected. A great dealership with reasonable prices. Called the dealer, explained I was in KCKS and didn't want to make the trip unless they were willing to deal over the phone. They were more than happy to help me, send me pictures of the car, send me the carfax, and negotiate pricing. After making the drive down there, met with the sales rep, we looked at the car, found a bulb that was out in the console, he took the car to their maintenance department and changed the light out before we did anything further. They washed the car, filled the tank, and gave me all the time I needed to go over every button, switch, and light, and to examine all of the mechanics of the car, look under the car for rust or anything out of sorts, etc. They were very patient. AFTER you purchase, the customer service fails Everything was great during the purchase process, besides the financial guy telling me you can't buy Honda Care after the sale. Please look up Saccuc Everything was great during the purchase process, besides the financial guy telling me you can't buy Honda Care after the sale. Please look up Saccucci Honda Care on a search engine to get it dirt cheap, any point before your factory warranty expires. Of course it was great at first, they didn't have my money yet! Down the line I had a problem, a dealer accessory (something the dealership had put on the car, it was not done at the factory) failed, and looked awful. After speaking with two people that gave me the wrong information and told me to go to the dealer, I arrived at the dealer and had to speak to two more people in two different departments until they figured out who I needed to speak to. They finally decided, after 4 or 5 people, that I had to speak with someone in sales, and I did. , after the salesman, Charlie Shore, inspected the car. I returned a week later, and dropped off my car. I was told it would take 3-4 hours to complete the "repair". I returned 5 hours later and my car was not at the dealer(it had to be driven somewhere else, the dealer could not or would not provide a place for the third party to do the repair at the dealership, when though it requires little work area to complete) and not finished. The third party proceded to drive my car to their business and using my Toll pass, and I was never informed of this or offered a refund, I only found out after reviewing my dash cam footage. I had to wait at the dealership for over two more hours. When the car finally returned, I found out the repair had only been partially completed. When I asked the salesman why, he said that part of the car was fine. When I showed him it wasn't, he then said he told them to do it. I then noticed one tire has curb rash, but luckily not the wheel. The third party claimed it was "construction dust", let only one tire had it. Then the salesman said "YOU AREN'T GONNA NITPICK ME BUDDY, I BENT OVER BACKWARD FOR YOU". Please explain how a warranty repair is bending over backwards for someone? I then reviewed the dash cam footage, and was shocked. The drive there showed NO construction to account for the "dust", and on the way back what I saw was concerning, at one point my dash cam was knocked or hit, and seconds later lost power. The dash cam did not regain power until one block from the dealership, and was miraculously in its normal position, while the car was parked next to a curb. I would now like to mention that I was originally told the car was on its way back around 4PM, yet it did not arrived until 4:55 PM, despite only being roughly 15-20 minutes away. The dash cam footage that exists for the drive back shows little to no traffic. The dealership then told me that they would have the my car fixed again. I told them I didn't what the third party touching my car again, two failed tries is enough. I told them I wanted a third party I have previously used to do it, and they said they would pay. More

Now, I'd heard terrible things about the tricks car dealers try to pull, particularly on a first time buyer, so I was cautious. But Steve was great to work with and he let me know exactly what to expect. He let me know the doc fees up front, and when he said there weren't any other charges outside of it and the price of the car, he was right. We'd only communicated through email, but he'd set things up so that when I got there they would have my price quote, even if he was out of the office. And when we got there, everyone was friendly without being uncomfortably friendly. I think it's worth mentioning that while they did offer add-ons and additional warranty, nobody was pushy about it and there wasn't a whole lot of song and dance to go through. Kenneth took me on my test drive. He was professional but genial, and did a great job of showing me the ins and outs of the vehicle; he pointed out features that I didn't even know it had, and I'd test driven this model before! Bottom line: If anyone's looking for a nice Honda and a no-hassle car-buying experience, I'd strongly recommend giving South Pointe a shot. More

Is this the "service department?" I'm trying to figure out why they call it a service department. We were notified by mail and phone that our 2006 Honda Accord required 3 recall repairs. Through the Honda Service line, we were referred to South Pointe Honda. On 1/13, we scheduled an appointment for Saturday, 1/16. We were provided an estimated time to repair of 2.5-3 hours. On Saturday, we dropped off car at 7am. [Filled out form with contact info and noted Scheduled Recall] We called around noon for update and was advised they'd call back in an hour. No returned call. We called again while driving to dealership assuming repairs would have been done. [Vehicle left at dealership 8 hours at this point] NO APOLOGIES, only an offer to have it done in ANOTHER 4 hours. We have spoken with Honda again today and have scheduled the work at Don Carlton Honda. I do not have the name of the woman we spoke to around noon. I didn't take note of the service manager when we picked up the car. The only name we have is Randall Strawn from the email/service reminder. More

When he informed me of the special deal that was only happening on this weekend that I did not know existed. When I was test driving the Honda Civic he explained everything the car can do and had the car do what he said it could do so you know what you are buying into. He answered every question I had and never interrupted at all. He knows a lot about customer services and treats the customer more as a person instead of just trying to make the sell. He even cleaned the car after I bought it and I’m pretty sure he didn’t have to do that but he did it anyway. Saved me a lot to do and if I ever have to buy another car I am only going to go throw Josh McNeil. If Josh McNeil is not there when I go to shop for a car then I will come back when he is working.
