Cannot begin to explain what a horrible experience we had at this dealer. Post sandy, dealing with all the other issues, the people we dealt with could not have been more horrible. They lied about about the price they quoted us and then 4 hours later, denied the price that they gave us and could not meet the price thar we were quoted. We were told by the manager that the price was too good and he would lose money in the deal unless we signed up for the extended warranty. He needed to make money somehow he told us. Also said that all rooms were recorded and when we said we were probably going to refinance since their rates were high, he said he could not sell to us based on that. If you told me I was being linked or on candid camera, I would have believed you. Ended up going to westbury nissan and bought two there. Good price, not the best service but anything was better than Massapequa Nisssan. Customer service from Nissan USA said they could not help since they are independently owned but they had heard many complaints about this dealership. Seriously, do not waste your precious time here! First, Gary was AMAZING! He wasn't the problem. He wasn't pushy or overbearing like other sales people. She wanted to have my 2012 totaled right away, even though I explained that I don't have the means to purchase a car and I needed to have my car. So a few weeks later, I had taken my 2012 Rogue in for service and the car was totaled at the dealership due to damage from Hurricane Sandy. The insurance company is giving me enough to put a nice down payment on a new car. a friend of mine is lending me the down payment until i get the insurance money. So as I emptied my car, my friend went in to talk to someone about purchasing a new car. When I went in to the sales area, she was speaking to Gary. He tried to locate the exact car I had. When he did, we went to speak to the finance guy, Jim. We were told by the finance guy that the price of the car would be $25,500. Because I am on a fixed monthly income, payments needed to stay the same as my 2012. The price of the 2013 came in higher because they added the $2000 rebate to the price BEFORE deducting it, so the price of the car came in at $27,500 BEFORE the rebate. Had me sign all the paperwork BEFORE the car got there from their Brentwood facility. So I am paying for insurance and financing without having the car in hand. We kept telling them that we would come back the next day but they were determined to keep us there and make sure we signed paper work and they got the deposit before telling us the car wasn't there yet and it would be another hour and a half before it would get there. Then they wanted to deliver the car in the pitch dark and rain. How can I check the car in that? This experience has left a bad impression not like when I purchase my 2012. The sales guy at that time even made my first service appointment for me. More

. I would not advise buying from this dealership unless you start talking directly with someone who will give you an "out the door" price. If the final price is different then the one you negotia you start talking directly with someone who will give you an "out the door" price. Wanted to lease 2013 Pathfinder. Called and spoke to Dominic and advised him exactly what I was looking for. He checked inventory and confirmed it was at the dealership Before leaving my home, I called Dominic and advised him exactly what I was looking for. I went to this dealer and agreed on a price for a brand new sentra. The salesmen I dealt with seemed very nice. He made an appointment for me to return and meet with the finance manager the next day and new sentra. The salesmen I dealt with seemed very nice. When i returned i met with a well dressed women that went out of her way to demonstrate how busy she was. When we started going through the paperwork, she started out with the finance agreement whick just showed an amount financed that looked high based on the price i agreed to pay. No matter how hard i pushed i could not get her to show me the computation of the amount financed. Instead she would start to explain it to me then find an error (of course in the dealership's favor). She would then call in her assistant, who was overwelmed and have her rerun all the paperwork. This would take 10-15 minutes. we would continue and repeat the same exercise with me explaining that the financed total looked to high, her finding an error and having her assistant rerun all the paperwork. This actually happened 4 times with us uncovering 5 different errors (all in the dealers favor) that totalled more than 2,500 that they deceptively tried to add to the price of the car. It was at that point that i realized this was part of thier game and i walked out. The financed price of the car was still way to high so i am sure that if i stayed we would have found other errors. I believe that this dealer intentionally uses these deceptive practices to rip off consumers. If you go to massapequa nissan and think they treated you fairly, you were probobly ripped off badly. I have used this dealership many times and have always had a great experience. I recently turned in a leased car and released a new one. The salesman, Joshua, agreed that Nissan would pay the last five pa had a great experience. I recently turned in a leased car and released a new one. The salesman, Joshua, agreed that Nissan would pay the last five payments on the old car. However, for some reason the paperwork didn't reflect that and the payments weren't made. I went in and spoke to one of the managers, Ross, and within the week I had a check for the remaining 5 payments. I want to thank both Joshua and Ross for their honesty and for honoring the deal that was made with me. They were both respectful and polite and took care of this quickly and efficiently.
