I brought my car in for a two-part recall (Oil Temperature/Bearings issue and ETC issue). I specifically asked if my car was subject to the oil temperature recall. The advisor told me that for my car the only recall that was relevant is the throttling issue. I did my own extensive research and that is not the case. I honestly don’t know if the technician actually did both parts of the recall, but I will be coming back to discuss further based on what was communicated to me upon check-in. More
I had an appt for an oil change with the knowledge that I was waiting with my vehicle. When I arrived 15 minutes earlier than appt time I saw a long line of cars ahead of mine. I had to leave and then received a call from a woman who asked how my service went….I explained to her what happened and she rescheduled my appt for me and made sure when I returned that my car went right in.
