I initially brought my truck in for a transmission leak. They stated my transmission wasn't leaking and that my oil filter was leaking. I asked them to change the oiI and repair the lower ball joints which They stated my transmission wasn't leaking and that my oil filter was leaking. I asked them to change the oiI and repair the lower ball joints which were discovered during their 26 point inspection. I have a Service Contract through Intellidrive which covered the ball joint repair. My truck sat in the lot for 1 month before the parts were ordered while I paid out of pocket for a rental. They finally ordered the parts which arrived on 11/7/25. My truck was repaired the following Monday. I drove home and later noticed oil in my driveway in a different location. I crawled under my truck and noticed the filter still leaking after Dan McGraw ensured me it was repaired. I have an automotive mechanical background so after the previous experience with this dealership I examined my filter myself. During this time I unscrewed it with 2 fingers. I examined the bung fitting which was secure, since its known to loosen by untrained mechanics who over tighten the filter. This topic was also brought to Dan McGraws attention as well and appears it wasn't addressed. It appears this dealership has no Quality Control measures in place which is evident by the mechanics experience. More
