Wasn’t satisfied. Took truck in because windshield motor was not working. Recommendation came back that the linkage for the window windshield washers needed to be repl Took truck in because windshield motor was not working. Recommendation came back that the linkage for the window windshield washers needed to be replaced and the wiper blades needed to be replaced. Since it was just a linkage I asked, Oh yeah isn’t it possible that WD-40 can fix the problem. Everyone at the counter laughed about that. Even so, I took the truck back home just paying the $250 for the assessment fee. I took the truck home and used the hose to wash out the area of the linkage to the windshield wipers. Now the windshield wipers are working fine because it was just dirt that was interfering with the operation of the wipers. The over $1000 Estimate was unreasonable. I checked the wipers and there are no cracks or problems with the wipers either. Windshield wipers linkage is a very basic component. Not much can go wrong except if they get bent or if they get dirty. In this case it was just dirty and I feel that the Technician should have considered just cleaning the components to see if it would work better. In short, I don’t think I got my moneys worth for the assessment fee that I paid. Also, the only solution provided was just the most expensive, even though it was unnecessary. More
