Not happy! I have to use this dealership for all service to my car because of location but I am never happy with the service. Here are the reasons why: 1. It takes forever for someone to answer the service line 2. I am often disconnected with and have to call back multiple times 3. People are rude and short on the phone 4. Communication with the service department is difficult because they are too busy to hear my concerns and hurry me along as though I am not important. 5. The work on the car gets done very well, but the customer service is TERRIBLE!!!!! More
Best purchase ever! After losing our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan due to Hurricane Michael, we called several Dodge dealerships to try to replace it. After waiting for resul After losing our 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan due to Hurricane Michael, we called several Dodge dealerships to try to replace it. After waiting for results for several days from the other dealerships we decided to call Southern. The salesman I spoke with, Cale Spafford, not only found exactly what we were looking for within 15 minutes of my call, but had sent pictures of what he had found and the image of the car's sticker so that we could compare the car's features with our 2014 model. We had asked for a 2018 model, he found a 2019 model with even more features than our 2014 model had. Because we live an hour and a half from Southern Dodge and the car had to come from a distant dealership we picked it up and finalized the sale a few days later. Cale's easy manner and high degree of professionalism in the buying process and level of knowledge of this car allowed us to quickly become comfortable with the new features of the car as well as completing all of the requirements of the purchase process. He also introduced us to other staff (Kati McMenamin, Delivery Coordinator) and Mark Baillio, Business Manager) who performed their respective roles with the same thoroughness we came to realize is the high standard one can expect when dealing with Southern Auto Group. Just a super, super experience. (P.S. Cale even drove us to the rental car company so we could return the rental we had been using since our loss.) More

Poor communication, poor service My car was towed there. AAA confirmed that it arrived at arrived at 5:15. I was assured that "I would get a call once my vehicle arrived." Nothing. I My car was towed there. AAA confirmed that it arrived at arrived at 5:15. I was assured that "I would get a call once my vehicle arrived." Nothing. I called at 5:30. Service stated 'nobody dropped off a car.' Asked if someone could physically verify if my car was there. No one could 'find the time' to look in the parking lot. Finally spoke to a Manager (I believe he was Sales) to verify my car's physical presence. I at least got that assurance from him. As far as the service, I never received a call with an update; all calls were initiated by me. Before coming to pick up the vehicle, I spoke to the service advisor, he said the battery was changed, and everything was fine. With the myriad of indicator lights when I brought it in, I asked if all codes were cleared. He said "yes." Finally picked up the (unwashed) vehicle, and CEL was still on. "Oh, I was thinking of a different car." Took it back to have techs clear the code, they couldn't do it (I wouldn't have picked up the car had I known that.) I was assured "Oh, you could drive it to Kalamazoo, as long as the CEL isn't flashing." The car started sputtering before it even made it off the lot. Made it home, then died again; didn't quite make it to Kalamazoo. In short, ZERO communication from Service, and techs couldn't find the issue. Unimpressed. Issue finally resolved at a local auto electric establishment. Skim error, which is something that I would like to think that the dealership could have identified. More
