They will break your vehicle My vehicle worked perfect when I brought it in. I bought 4 new tires, got a tune up, and oil change. When I picked the car up they were closing but I My vehicle worked perfect when I brought it in. I bought 4 new tires, got a tune up, and oil change. When I picked the car up they were closing but I got the car just in time. When driving home I noticed the vehicle was making noise. I couldnt bring the vehicle back for awhile. It sounded like the power steering so I added some and it stopped making the noise for a week. Then it started again so I brought it in. All together it was about 2 to 3 weeks. I brought it back and they said the power steering rack was leaking and it would be 1,450.00. I told them it was working perfect before you worked on it, you guys messed it up. They of course denied it. I also noticed a few days later after they initially worked on the vehicle there was oil on my garage floor. There never was before. I know this because I recently painted my garage floor. Its just a huge coincidence that this broke the day they worked on my car. Hmmm yeah ok. The director said I can promise you the mechanic didnt break your car. I said really?! How can you promise me that?! Were you looking over his shoulder for every second he was working on my car? He didnt like that. He said his mechanics dont need to break cars because they get paid very well. This is bull crap. I will never go there ever again and will tell every person I know not to go there. The other manager Billy Kersey (a girl) said in all the years she worked her this has never happened. She never seen it or heard of it ever happening. I find that kind of funny because another employee that works there Eric Strickland over heard us arguing and when they were not looking he said Im sorry, this happens more then I like to admit . He said he told his mother he cant stand working here because he fells like crap knowing what they do here and how they rip people off. He said he hears this all the time that the service department is always messing peoples cars up on purpose and then charging the customer. After speaking to her i got a call from the finance manager who said he was told to get me approved and he would call me back . well i never heard from anyone else . Then after a week i called and another got involved and she was going to see what she could find out . She then text me and said they could not get me approved , but i received a letter stating the i was approved but the approval had expired . Not at anytime had i been told by anyone i had spoke to had they advised me of that . REALLY TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!Wheather approved or not no one should ever be treated like this . More
Overall well served personally and vehiculerly I drove from Metter for my appointment at 7:30 am and waited outside the locked gate until an unknown employee opened the first gate. I'll Be Doing Business Elsewhere In The Future I bought a 2004 Honda Element to replace a 1997 Camry that was totalled in an accident (other driver found to be at fault). The used Element had been I bought a 2004 Honda Element to replace a 1997 Camry that was totalled in an accident (other driver found to be at fault). The used Element had been inspected by dealership, but I was not provided the paperwork for that inspection prior to sale despite multiple requests to see it. Eventually, we were told that the inspection of the vehicle was done at a different dealership (even though Carfax said otherwise, the inspection by the other dealer had occured about 15,000 miles prior to Southern Motors acquiring the vehicle). AFTER the sale (while having an SRS airbag light diagnosed at the dealer), we were given a copy of the inspection performed by Southern Motors DAYS BEFORE the actual sale. This document showed that the "mechanically sound" vehicle that "only had cosmetic damage" turned out to need new lower control arms and ball joints, rear sway bar links, a valve cover gasket, driver seatbelt buckle switch (replaced for free by dealership under lifetime warranty), OPDS sensor, and gas cap. These repairs would cost at least $700 for me to do myself, I asked the dealer to perform these repairs for free since the vehicle's condition was misrepresented at the time of sale. I bought it as-is with no warranty so the dealer wouldn't do it. I thought they would complete these repairs in order to keep my wife and myself (and anyone who values our opinion) as loyal customers and because we were mislead at the time of the sale. After 3 hours of discussion, they offered to do the work and price the parts at an employee discount, but we have yet to receive a quote for what these repairs will cost us, despite a scheduled two-hour visit to the service department the following morning. They also went to retrieve a document for me near the end of our negotiations and didn't return. After waiting alone for half an hour, I went to the service department to get a new copy of the document since that is where I originally obtained it. It took them two tiny minutes to go find the missing document. The sales department either forgot about or ignored me for that entire half hour. More
