We really needed more room and didn't want to be cramped! I had what i call many Car Sharks (Salesman) all over me everytime i had walked up to a car lot. I want to say i didn't feel that way at all at Southern Motors Honda! I had owened a Mazda for the last three years and i thought i was happy! I went over there thinking they would give me the most for my trade and give me a great deal on a car. Well that didn't happen:( I was upset and very hurt!!! We have been doing buisness with them for somewhile. I left there kinda of puzzled and confused, thinking where was the customer loyalty! As i pulled out on to Abercorn i seen Southern Motors. I really just went there to see what they had because i had heard they were really over priced. I can tell you i was VERY WRONG. I would like to say i felt like a family memeber when i pulled on the lot i was greeted by Charlton. He will tell you i gave him a hard time( sorry Charlton:). My first words to him were, i don't wanna waste your time i need prices. He laughed and said i Promise i will help you get what you want here if i can! Well he did what he said he would. My husband and i are SO0o0o Happy we bought a HONDA Pilot. WE have always settled with what we were able to get in the past but Southern Motors on Abercorn really worked hard to get us what we wanted. I want who ever is reading this to know Thank YOU!! I got an online quote through USAA for the vehicle we wanted (Odyssey Touring, and the dealership honored this price without question. We pretty much knew which vehicle we wanted, but got good service from David who showed us the vehicles they had on the lot and took us on a test drive. The vehicle we selected had N2 filled tires, mud flaps, and window etching as dealer installed option. We didn't like the pinstriping so had them take it off (and remove from price of vehicle). After that it was just a matter of doing paperwork to complete the sale as we already had our own financing set up prior to going to the dealership. F&I manager was straightforward. We got an extended warranty, but he didn't try to push other unnecessary products on us. Overall a very stress free car buying experience. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the market for a new Honda. The internet price quote definitely eliminated the need for a lot of back anf forth negotiating. More
I was searching for a specific vehicle configuration that was very difficult to find so I was considering dealers within 4 hrs for the car. I went with my best price quote from another dealer and put down a was very difficult to find so I was considering dealers within 4 hrs for the car. I went with my best price quote from another dealer and put down a deposit for the vehicle that was due to arrive in 3 wks. Unfortunately, that dealer sold the car I had a deposit on to a higher bidder. They found a 2nd car and sold that to a higher bidder as well. In the meantime while unsuccessfully trying to get my deposit back (still trying) I started my search over and wound up dealing with Southern Motors Honda. While Southern Motors was not the best price I was quoted, their quote fell into what I would characterize as "good", they dealt with me honestly. Based on my dealings with the first dealer I was suspicious, and really ready to explode if things went similarly. Fortunately, everything was ready and as negotiated when we arrived to pick up the car. The process was as painless as possible. As is typical a couple of add ons like extended warranties and dealer installed options were presented, but not pushed hard to the point to make one uncomfortable so that wasn't a big deal to me. They also had some free add ons like free nickel dent repairs and leather repair and lifetime warranties on transmission and engine in exchange for a couple of oil changes a year. Overall, I would definitely recommend Southern Motors. I would also like to add that a local competitor to Southern Motors Honda also had a couple of the exact same car I was looking for and quoted me substantially higher. I would characterize their quote as "Bad" or "Very Bad". They basically told me the car was kind of rare and they were going to extract a premium for it. I would start with Southern first. More

I had intended to buy a second hand vehicle but after being shown the prices on the 2012's I had changed my mind. The sales people bent over backwards to accomodate my needs.
